Making Decorations

[Lady Katerina]

Katerina had been riding for a while, following all the paths that didnt seem to lead anywhere, she had taken so many turns even her highly tuned tracking sense was confused "Ahh... maybe they are just a legend Nassau..." she spoke softly to her warhorse.

As she rounded another corner she caught sight of a strange scene, a tree in the middle of a clearing, with 3 people around it... and a star on top. She walked Nassau into the clearing and stopped him a few metres from the people, coughing to get their attention she spoke in a calm non threatening voice "A question for you sirs and your lady friend, what would one do to find an outlaw?" she figured that sheriffs men were unlikely to be decorating trees in the forest.

Will looked around slightly bemused. Who was this lady? She was too well dressed to be a peasant, she was obviously very rich, but then again, she didn't seem to be dangerous... she could be a spy sent out by the sheriff, but then again she my not be...
Will looked at her trying to figure out what to say, "Um... Why?" he cleared his throat and asked more purposefully "Why would a lady, such as yourself, be out in the heart of the forest searching for outlaws?" he looked inquizitivly at her awaiting an answer.

[Djaq]

As Will landed his feet safely on the ground, Djaq breathed a sigh of releaf. At least he was alright, and the star was sitting elegantly on the peak of the tree. Suddenly, Djaq spotted a woman riding on her horse towards them. She placed her hand on her sword, just in case and then looked over at her. As she spoke she opened her mouth, insulted, with her hands on her hips. "Lady friend?" she whispered under her breath.

[Lady Katerina]

Katerina dismounted Nassau and landed lightly on the ground “The fact that you didn’t just try to attack me tells me you know of which outlaw I speak of” she bowed and smiled “I am Katerina Roselyn De’Amore, daughter of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg” She turned to the woman “You may seem more of a man then most women but you are surely female…” Katerina knew by her comment that she had revealed that she could read lips like any good spy “I am looking for Robin Hood, my father wishes to make him an offer, Prince Johns corruption has reached even Luxembourg and we will not stand for it” she said.

Nassau snickered slightly when Katerina stepped away from him, but when she turned and placed a hand on his nose he stilled instantly. Katerina turned back to the people “So do you know Robin?”

[Djaq]

Djaq looked at Will, and then at Gary. She raised her eyebrows at the woman. Daughter of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg.. That title didn't make much sense to her. She patted Will on the sholder and said "I'll leave you men to handle this." she said smiling slightly, and then wandered off to get some more painting done.

((sorry Robbie for god-modding Gary, but you did say we could!))

"I'm gunna go back and get some more.... um.... string..." Gary said and turned and disapeared off into the forest.
Will followed him with his eyes for a moment, looked over at Djaq, who was sitting on a log nearby painting the last few decorations for the tree, and then looked back at the new arrival.
"Yeah I do know of Robin Hood? Does he know of you, or your father 'The Duke of Luxembourg'?" asked WIll still suspicious of this woman.

[Lady Katerina]

"Robin lodged with us on his way back from the holy lands briefly, he was ill due to an infection in a wound he received, I know not if her remembers us but when we heard the stories my father remember what kind of man Robin was... We are offering help" she said the last part in such a tone of conviction that you could tell she was passionate about helping, Katerina had never been one to let corruption win and her father was having trouble keeping his lands due to Prince John.

"I will not lie to you, I don't think Robin will remember me, he was delirious with fevers and sickness when i tended him but know this... I am not here for the Sheriff, I am a spy for my father" She got ready to mount Nassau, she was starting to think that this man knew nothing but the hero's name.

[Djaq]

Djaq was listening to the conversation taking place, whilst painting. She only had about 2 more decorations to go, and the paint was rapidly running out. She sighed, she'll probably have enough. She finished the decoration she was working on, and placed it down on the ground along with all the other ones she had already painted. She admired them for a few seconds, and then began painting on the second last decoration. Then she would need to string them, and hang them up. Things were running abit more smoothly. She smiled to herself and carried on listening to Will and Katerina's conversation.

[Allan A Dale]

Allan was sitting in a stall in the stables, hiding from Guy, he had been feeling so guilty of late and it was breaking him up that he didn’t keep Marian’s identity safe, would she forgive him?.

A horse snuffled in it’s sleep in the stall next to him and that quiet sound almost made him jump through the roof, he was getting so edgy and paranoid these days as Sir Guy’s lackey. He jumped up as he felt a shiver of cold go down his back, he had to save Marian.

Allan walked out into the courtyard and noticed an carriage with servants bustling around it, he pulled a young girl to the side and questioned her “What’s all this then?”.

Adele looked up at the man with a haughty expression on his face “The Lady Katerina of Luxembourg Duchy has arrived, she rides in the forest while we prepare her room” she pulled away from the man and went about her business.

Allan shook his head at the airs of the servant girl, who in the name of everything holy was Lady Katerina, he called for a horse as he puzzled over the situation.
“Well, only one thing for it, if she went to the forest as soon as she arrived I bet I know why she is here” He mounted his horse and told the servant to tell Guy that he was out in the villages, no need to tell the truth as of yet.

Allan was following the tracks of a horse which was marked in a manner he had never seen, it was obvious that the tracks had to be this Katerina lady’s tracks. He followed them until he noticed the horse had slowed to a walk, he dismounted and led his horse into the clearing.

Shocked he stared at Will and Djaq “Don’t hurt me im not here on any business to do with you…” he turned to the beautiful woman standing near a black stallion “Lady Katerina I take it?” he bowed “your servants are still setting up… and not being funny or anything but riding out in search or Robin before speaking to the Sheriff, that’s a bit suspicious even to someone like Vasey”.

[Will Scarlett]

Will looked over at Allan puzzled. "What are you doing here? I thought we told you we never wanted to see you again." said Will bluntly staring at Allan.

[Djaq]

At the sight of Allan, Djaq dropped the decoration and got up. She slowly walked over to Will and grabbed hold of his arm, looking up at him sternly. "Don't do anything you'll regret..." she whispered, and then turned around to look at Allan.

[Allan A Dale]

"Not being funny mate but a lady arrives at Nottingham and instantly goes into the forest, you should be thankful its me and not Guy or Vasey" Allan replied harshly.

[Lady Katerina]

Katerina turned to the newcomer "Just who are you?" she looked at Will and Djaq, it was obvious they new the man and rather obvious that they had a certain dislike for him.

"I am Katerina, that is true, and by your words I take it your somehow working for the Sheriff, but you don't like it... or you would have told him..." she pondered this while staring at the man "Why didn't you report me if you know I'm looking for Robin? Are you a friend or an enemy sir?" she included Will and Djaq in the question because she figured they would have their own opinions.

"He's a traitor. You can't trust him... whoever's side your on... Robins, or the Sheriff's... he's betrayed both..." Will said matter of factly.

[Djaq]

Djaq looked at each person in turn, but stopped a few seconds on Allan. She would like to have said he was a good man, but just didn't have it in her to say it. So she remained silent and looked down at the ground, shuffling her feet slightly.
