Another execution was taking place today. Rosetta hid amongst the crowd. She had her hood up to cover her face. Looking around her she saw some ladders. Brilliant she thought. She ran to them and climbed them. As the executioner was putting the noose around a young boy's head she loaded an arrow into her bow. She pulled the string back, aiming it for the executioner. She fired. Bulls eye. It hit him in between the eyes. The guards looked up. She smiled and climbed back down the ladder. She fended the guards off with a few arrows. She got to the boy and took the noose off his neck and untied his bonds. "Easy. I'm not here to harm you." she said. The boy looked at her and thanked her. Things were going to get ugly. "Gentlemen, I bid you good day." she said. She took out a glass vial filled with a see through liquid. She smashed it to the floor and a cloud of smoke appeared. Old habits die hard. She mounted her horse and went to the back streets.
She dismounted and looked towards the gallows once more. The guards were still in a massacre of confusion even though the smoke had cleared. Someone touched her arm. "Delano." she hissed. He took her into his house. She said hello to his wife, Anastasia and his two daughters, Marie and Lucy. She took a seat and pulled her hood down and took off her leather gloves. Soon a knock came at the door.
