We Fight! ((Guy, all peasants, Will, Alexis))

[Marian]

Marian, Allan and Gisborne stood, readying all able men in order for them to be able to fight. The women and children were moved to the middle of gated area, so they might be safer, and Gisborne and Allan began to hand out weapons.

Marian wandered around, making sure everyone had weapons and was ready for the fight. "Please let them find the Sheriff..." She said ever-so-softly to herself. She didn't want the bloodshed to happen.

She looked over, and saw Gisborne talking to Jasper, seriously. She wondered what it was all about...

[Will Scarlett]

Will saw Marian and walked over to her saying quietly "You've got to stay safe. You have to stay alive. Whatever it takes, you need to survive..." he pauses and shows her the ring "Robin told me to give this to you... and told me to make sure you were safe..." he looked at her awaiting a reply...

[Sir Guy]

he didnt believe what he was hearing, it was as if it was all a test to see if i was trustworthy. He looked over at Marian with watery eyes and quickly looked away. He couldnt understand that he could go if he wanted with family.

"I have no family, but what about a friend." He knew Japser knew who guy meant. he told guy that they had to be married. GUy knew Marian would say no but was it worth the risk? Surely she couldnt hate him for asking her this to save her life.

He waited until most people were inside before strolling up to her but even then he was nervous.

[Marian]

She shook her head; "It is dangerous, Will. I can't keep safe when all of Nottingham is going to be razed to the ground. When it comes to the time, I'm going to fight - Robin's not going to stop me." She took the ring, and placed it in her pocket. "I know that he just wants me safe...but no-ones safe." She smiled softly, "I'd better go. Good luck, Will..."

[Sir Guy]

He came up to Marian and pulled her away, nearer to the castle and Will just sees me kneel down.

"Marian, Jasper said that my family can pass without harm. Marian, if you marry me then you will be family and you will not be harmed. Let Nottingham be destroyed and come with me." He looks up at her face, wanting to feel her cheeks and wanting more than anything for her to say yes.

[Marian]

She looked stunned. This was not what she'd been expecting. "I..." she paused, "I..." She didn't know what to say. She didn't want to marry him, and she was engaged to another - but could she turn him down? Yes.

"I can't just leave the people to die, Guy..." She paused, "Even if there's nothing to do, I will fight with them. I won't just abandon them all."

[Sir Guy]

GUy takes her hand. "Marian, i still care about you, ride away and you will be safe." He wanted her to come, he really did so she wouldnt be killed by the marching army who were steadily approaching.

He stood up. "Think about it," he whispered in her ear before grabbing his sword and running to Allan to see if there was news on the sheriff.

As there was no news, Guy mounted his horse and waited for the gates to open. He looked down at Marian, hoping that she would change her mind after she saw the approaching army which was making a line around Nottingham.

[Sir Guy]

He looked at Marian and felt her cheek before riding slowly out and the gates closed. He sADly rode towards Jasper and stopped, hoping he could of said a proper goodbye. Guy smiled at Jasper as he got asked if Marian was coming.

"She said she didnt want to leave the villagers, she wanted to stay and protect the land. Which is what im going to do. I am nothing without her."

Guy turned his horse around and cantered back into the castle, hoping that Marian wouldnt now change her mind and stay. He raced into the castle and saw people making a line, he looked over at Marian with a sword in her hand and smiled when she noticed him.

[Marian]

She nodded, with no intention of marrying him. She didn't want to escape, if all of Nottingham, and Robin, would be dead. She looked towards Will. She knew he'd probably encourage her to do what Gisborne wanted, if it would save her - after what Robin has said. But she knew her conscience could never deal with it.

She was surprised to see Gisborne returning. She looked up, and did smile - because she was quite proud of him. Well, if he'd returned to help, anyway. "Aren't you leave?" She asked him, as she continued to hand out swords, daggers and armour to everyone prepared to fight.

[Sir Guy]

He sighed. "I was going to leave but im nothing without you." He turned away after looking deep into her eyes. Guy handed out the swords and after they were standing in their potistions, he pulled Marian close. "Lets get married, and make it the last thing we do..."
