Gary walked into the market area, he hadn't done much for a while and was getting pretty bored. He checked out some stalls. A group of young children ran past, playing. The market was quite full of people, but maybe not as much as usual.

Djaq walked down the street, mumbling to herself. The town was a completely different place! Each house was decorated, the best it could be, with holly and bright flowers. Everybody was happy. Their arms around each other singing Christmasy songs. Djaq smiled to herself. This Christmas really did seem to be a big deal.
After a while of strolling, she spotted Gary in the distance, looking at nearby stalls. She ran up to him smiling. "Hello!" she said simply, looking down at the stall he was staring at. It was a Christmas decoration stall, and was full of wooden toys and attractive things to hang on walls and all sorts perfect for Christmas. Djaq sighed and shook her head. Christmas was everywhere she looked. "So whats the deal with this Christmas thing?" she asked suddenly, picking up a wooden toy horse and examining it carefully.

Gary smiled as Djaq ran up and said hello. It was nice to have someone to talk to.
"What's the deal with this christmas thing?" he said shocked, "Oh, of course, you don't have christmas where you come from, do you? Well..." How to explain christmas... "At Christmas, everyone is sings carols, gives and receives presents and are together. Everyone gets off work for a while and has a lot of fun. And the most important thing," They has wandered more to the edge of the market now, away from the middle, busy section, "is that everyone is happy." He smiled at her.

"Hmmmm." said Djaq, "Sounds wonderful!" she smiled. A time for happyness, family and festivities. Sounded good to her! This Christmas thing really was starting to reach her expectations. It didn't sound to different to Zimanji-Regaat. She stopped for a few seconds, her face emotionless, staring hard at the ground. Zimanji-Regaat was in the past. And Christmas is in the present. Just, stop thinking about what used to be. She breathed in and then continued walking, and a smile grew back into her face once more.
"The boys are planning to put on a Christmas party!" she said grinning. "For everybody! In the forest for all you guys. Its going to be fantastic by the sounds of things!" she suddenly turned around to face Gary. "Hey? Why don't you help organise it?" she said. "The boys would love a helping hand!" she looked down at the floor. "Now that I'm not of any help."

"Really? A Christmas Party?" That really did lift his spirits, it's just what he needed. "I'll gladly help with any organising if you need me. And there are plenty of things you could help with Djaq, just because you haven't had a Christmas before. Buying decorations... Inviting people... There's not much to it really!" He was trying his best to cheer up the slightly upset/bwildered Djaq.

"Really?" said Djaq. "Thanks Gary," she said smiling at him warmly. "I'm sure the gang would appreciate my help too!" she laughed and they carried on walking through the market.
"So, about the party. I'm guessing Much will be taking care of the food department..." she said smiling. "And I guess Will could make some decorations out of wood..." She stood there pondering for a few moments. "What could we do?"

He pondered this for a moment. "Hmm..." A thought struck him, "Well, we could invite people? And make sure the RIGHT people get invited and the WRONG people don't know anything about it. Like that man we met a little while ago.... what was his name.... Drake! That's it. Or are we just going to invite all the villagers?"

"Well we're definately not inviting Drake, thats for sure." Djaq scoffed. "I found out a few things about him that require some serious explanations. Thank goodness he's been laying low these past few days." she said shaking her head.
"So, how are we going to invite people, just knock on everyones doors?" she asked, scratching her head. "I'm still not sure if the party is happening, it depends on if the boys can get everything sorted." she said smiling. The boys would need to start doing some serious organising, it was Christmas in only a few days!
"Christmas is...the 25th of December. Am I right?" Gary nodded and she grinned. "Aahh, i'm getting better at this! But today is the...the...wait. What day is it?" she said frowning. Being an outlaw, you lose track of time somewhat.

"Erm..." Gary wasn't all to sure himself. "I think it must be about the 20th. And I don't think knocking on EVERYONE's doors is the right plan, we'd be out forever! Hmm... If we put up posters then everyone would know... What do you think we should do? We could always not let people in, like, at the door... well," he laughed, "at the forest."

"Posters might not be such a great idea either." said Djaq frowning. "Gisbourne might see them and report it too the Sheriff." she said scratching her head. "And then it would be the gallows for us." she sighed fustratedly. Zimanji-Regaat was never this difficult.
"Look, I think we should ask the gang about this." she said. "Maybe they'll have some bright ideas." she said. "Come on."
Gary and Djaq exited the bustling streets of Nottingham and made their way over to the forest.
