Djaq raised her eyebrows. "I guess it does change his mind..." she said smirking. "Well, enough of that...we have a party to organise!" She made her way back to the clearing.
Djaq and Gary walked beside each other through the the forest, avoiding dead and unconsious guards on the floor. "Do you think he's on to us?" she asked worriedly. "The Christmas Party...do you think he'll find out?" He's a sneaky little rat, he managed to find the clearing, maybe he'll come back whilst the party's going on!" she bit her lip.

Guy raced to the castle and was quite annoyed Marian had only wanted him to give her permission to go to the market.

Gary frowned again. Then followed Djaq. "I don't think so. He might've found the arrows on the trees but I don't think he would bother following them." They continued to walk toward the clearing, but were still a little way off.
"Anything we can do for the party now?" he asked

"Erm...well, without Will we can't really make any decorations." she said frowning. "Could you find your way here okay from the village?"

"Well, I reckon I could probably find the hill thing where your base is. And then I know to follow the signs. I think so..." Gary replied.

"Well," said Djaq bringing her sword out of its hilt. "We need to make the markings to the village, or from that pub or something, so the peasants can find where the party is." she said smiling. "I only have a sword myself...but you were using a dagger earlier?" she asked him. Before he could answer, she looked at his belt and saw a small dagger. She smiled and grabbed it at the speed of light, and the next thing Gary knew, the dagger was in her own hand. She put her sword back in its hilt and spun the dagger around her fingers, without cutting herself. "You don't mind if I use this do you?"
Before Gary had the chance to answer again she had already started cutting markings in the trees, quietly thinking what the best route would be. She sped on, making the perfect path with arrows pointing to the Clearing on trees which where slowly leading to the village. Gary shook his head and followed.

After quite a long time, Djaq had finished, and looked at "The Horses Carriage" pub ahead of her. She smiled up at it and heard the singing and yelling of peasants inside, and the crashing and shattering of objects breaking. She turned around and examined the trees of Sherwood forest, some of which had arrows pointing in various directions, leading to the clearing. She smiled to herself, and felt happy that she had achieved something.
"There." she said bluntly. "I recon that should do the trick. The first tree is near the back of the pub, so the Sheriffs men shouldn't go anywhere near there!" she grinned. "Now lets follow the arrows, and see if we can get back to the clearing."
Gary nodded and they followed the arrows and disappeared into the trees. It was getting pretty dark, it was around 3pm, and because it was winter, that meant it was rather dark in the forest. None the less, they followed the arrows, and a little while later, they found themselves back in the clearing.
"Works a treat." she Djaq, rubbing her hands together and grinning.

"Now what?" Djaq asked Gary and went to sit on a "log seat" crossed legged and feeling like she'd done a good days work.

"I don't know..." Gary replied. "I'm worried. I mean, the arrows on the trees are great but, Guy has been in the forest recently, if he sees one, if ANYONE sees one they're bound to follow it. Do you agree?"

Djaq nodded and became fustrated. "How come things have to be so complicated?" she said spitefully. "We just trying to make people happy..."

"I know, but I think most of the time it's easier to do the wrong thing. I mean, if you never thought of others, you'd only ever have to think about yourself, that's one person, so it would be easier. But not as rewarding," Gary added with a smile.
