Waiting For The Rest Of The Gang To Return

[Alexis Bailey]

It had been a while since Alexis had been to the camp. It had been too quiet, too lonely with everyone gone. she'd actually gone to search for Gary but hadn't found him, much to her worry..
Her eyes brightened as she heard familiar voices coming from the camp. She immediately ran in, unthinkingly.
"Y-you're back?!" she stood in the entrance to the camp for a few seconds, a smile on her face.
She gave a laugh and ran to all three of them, hugging them in turn whether they liked it or not.

little john walked back in to the camp. he was very surprised to see everyone and had a very big smile on his face. he walked over to will and djaq. "hello, hows the baby?" he asked.
he was pleased to see a new face in the gang. he sat down on a log and started to fall asleep. he was very tired even after his long break.

much looked up rather red puffy eyed and saw will and djaq and a little bundle of joy in her arms, he got up and walked over to will and shook his hand and congratulated djaq on becoming a mother. " hi Will, hi Djaq how are you both" he said. "im sorry for the puffy eyed look but ive just been thinking of some horrible news" said much

john looked up at much. "what's wrong much" john was wondering why much looked so upset. he knew that much had enjoyed his break and was pleased to see everyone in the camp, so why was he upset? what was this bad news?

john was very confused.

much looked at little john to give him that warning look to say "you know what bad news im on about" and as soon as he saw robin he sparked up a bit. he soon realised that robin was in camp and his frustration was calming down

"im sorry everyone for looking really upset"

John suddenly remembered that much had told him earlier. "Don't worry much, Everything will be ok" hesaid trying to comfort much. He hated seeing people upset and was in the mood for keeping everyone else happy.

[Djaq]

Djaq returned the hug from Alexis happily, squishing poor Shafiq in the process. As she withdrew Shafiq continued to splutter and gurgle. Djaq touched his nose with her finger, and he started to giggle and squirm about in her arms. Djaq laughed and hoisted Shafiq up a little bit in her arms, and started walking around the camp. She still awaited Robins responce to how Marian was, and she prayed it would not be bad news.

Alexis laughed softly, hearing Shafiq's giggle. She gave him a smile, then moved her gaze to Djaq.
"He is adorable, what's his name?" She touched Shafiq's nose gently as she spoke.
She had missed so much, being away from them all for so long. The excitement and happiness she felt for Will and Djaq clearly showed in her eyes.

[Will Scarlett]

"His names Shafiq," Will interrupted proudly. Alexis had directed the question at Djaq, but it gave Will such joy to be able to introduce this beautiful baby as his son. "Shafiq Scarlet. Hold him you like," he said smiling at Alexis. Shafiq stopped gurgling and was silent as he was passed from Djaq to Alexis, a little bewildered. For a moment, Will thought that the baby would burst into tears what with being in the arms of a stranger, but within seconds, Shafiq resumed his gurgling, enjoying this new attention he as receiving from his parents friend.

Will beamed happily at the sight of his friend holding his son for a moment before taking Djaq's hand and leading her to a corner of the camp so that they were alone. He trusted Alexis with Shafiq, and he needed to be alone with Djaq for a moment or two. Since the birth of Shafiq, they had very rarely been alone together as Bassam or Carter would always be around, which Will didn't mind, it just meant that they were never alone.
"So..." he grinned, his cheeky boyish grin, spinning her round to face him and resting his hands on her waist "...you pleased to be back?"

She gave Will a smile, "He is adorable."
She looked down at Shafiq, only glancing up again to watch him walk with Djaq. The smile remained on her face as she watched them for a few moments, it was good to have them back.
"Come on then you." She smiled at Shafiq and picked herself one of the logs to sit down on.

[Djaq]

"Very." she said hugging him back. "But I can't help but think...do you think Basaam and Carter will be alright on their own?" she said frowning. She felt bad leaving them both there without telling them where they had gone, they were just in such a rush to go back home that they wanted to do it as quickly as they could.

She glanced at Alexis who was still holding Shafiq. She couldn't help but feel a little pang of annoyance that another woman was holding her baby, but that emotion was swamped the the utter joy that she was back in England.

[Will Scarlett]

"Hey..." he said soothingly, rubbing her back with his hand "They'll understand. They want the best for us, and this is the best place we can be right now" He looked down into her eyes, "I love you, and I love our son, and we are going to live a great life here together" he said softly before kissing her gently on the lips.

((ooc - sorry for the badness of that - i got to go eat dinner ))

Alexis, stroked Shafiq's cheek gently, rocking him slightly. She quite liked taking care of him, even for a short time. It had also made her feel a little broody, and made her miss Gary even more. She sighed quietly to herself, he'd come back eventually. She hoped.

[Djaq]

"I know" Djaq said lovingly. She hoped that she could give Shafiq a good life here in England. She hugged Will for a little while longer and then pulled away from him and looked up. "Come on," she said as she dragged him back to where Robin and Alexis were.

Alexis was quite happy to just watch Shafiq, shown clearly by the contented smile on her face. She raised her hand briefly to push her long hair back from her face and behind her ear, her eyes never moved from his face. Her fingers stroked across his cheek, lightly so as not to disturb him.
