New to the Area(Robin&Marion)

[Lady Rosetta Court]

As her horses hooves clopped on the cobbles leading to the town a thought bestowed her. Why had she come here. For answers of Robin of course. She followed the road until it ended. Then she dismounted and looked around her. Something made her jump and she drew her sword injuring a peasent. 'This is not good.' she thought.

[Robin Hood]

With his hood up to protect his true identity, the Outlaw that was known as Robin Hood was headed for Nottingham Market. He had heard talk of an army of peasants being built up,and he was hoping to hear more. Sat in front of him on the saddle was his wife, Marian. Injured and ill, he had asked her to stay at the camp, but she had insisted she felt well enough, and begged him to take her with him. It was so unlike her to beg, he'd had to say yes; besides, he could understand how she was sick of the cave. She'd been in it months, recovering, and only when Djaq applied a Saracen mixture to the would had she begun to feel capable of even moving. Frail as she was, Robin was glad to see her feeling better, and so hadn't objected too much to her joining him. However, he hadn't expected to run into trouble...

"Who goes there?" he asked, seeing an injured peasant and an armed woman. He dismounted quickly, bow at the ready, hood still up, leaving Marian on the horse.

[Lady Rosetta Court]

"Sorry. I didnt mean to cause any trouble. Im just looking for one of my father's friends. Robin of Locksley. Im Lady Rosetta." she said. She put her sword away. "Oh no. He told in his last letter to give him this." she held out his prized bow. "Please if you know him give it him." she said sadly.

[Robin Hood]

As the peasant scuttled away, it was clear he wasn't too badly hurt, and so Robin turned to focus solely on Rosetta. Despite her speech, he did not remove his hood, or indicate his identity: the Sheriff had used tricks like this before. However, holding out the prized bow...that suggested she was telling the truth. Still, he wasn't sure; they were living in dangerous times and he had to be comepletley sure of people before he could trust them.

"Why do you seek Robin Hood?" he asked, glancing at Marian to see what she thought of this stranger. She looked as confused as he did. "Who was your father?"

[Lady Rosetta Court]

"Lord Andrew Court." said Rosetta, with a lump forming in her throat. "Why did he have to die!" she said her voice cracking. She fell to her knees in tears.

[Robin Hood]

Lord Andrew Court...the name did ring a bell, now that she said it. "Where did your father know m- Robin from?" he asked, "here? or the Holy Lands?" He nearly slipped up and said 'me', but managed to stop himself before it was too late. "I'm sorry for your loss, Lady Rosetta," he replied compassionately, considering removing his hood and revealing his true identity. First, though, he had to ask one more question:

"Why are you looking for Robin of Locksley?"

[Lady Rosetta Court]

"He was a true friend to my father and he wants to bring down the Sheriff as much as I do. the Sheriff murdered my mother in cold blood." she said. She looked up at the cloaked man. "Please help me find him." she begged.

[Robin Hood]

He remembered now; Lord Andrew Court, killed, and his wife too. He hadn't known that they had a daughter. He felt as though he could trust her, but he looked to Marian: she always had a good sense of who was trustworthy. She didn't look too worried, and so he relaxed. Her begging was the last confirmation he needed. He felt sorry for the girl who clearly needed his help, and so he removed his hood slowly, looking around to make sure no-one else was around.

"I am Robin of Locksley, Lady Rosetta. I apologise for keeping my identity a secret, but you cannot be too careful these days. How can I be of assistance?"

[Lady Rosetta Court]

Rosetta threw her arms around him a cried. "By the Goddess I want you to help me kill the Sheriff and get Prince John off the throne." she said. She looked at Robin. "Im so sorry." she said and let him go. She dried her eyes. "Forgive me." she said.

[Marian]

Marian raised an eyebrow at the pretty woman who was throwing her arms around her husband, but said nothing. Gratitude was just a part of being the people's hero. The girl's request was extreme, and one Marian knew Robin wouldn't be able to agree to.

"Forgive me, Lady Court, but whilst Robin is doing all her can to get King Richard back on the throne, killing the Sheriff is not something he can do. Do you not know of Prince John's decree regarding that matter?" Perhaps, if the girl didn't live round here, she would not have heard what Prince John had promised would happen to Nottingham, if the Sheriff was killed...

[Lady Rosetta Court]

"Yes I heard but I have Prince John wrapped around my finger." she said. "I met him a week ago to talk to him about taxes and what not but the way he was looking at me. Well, you could've said his eyes were all lovey dovey." she smiled. "Anyway I already know your the Night Watchman." she whispered. Out of the corner of her eye she saw five gaurds advancing towards them. She pulled her bow off her back and fired some shots between Marion and Robin.

[Marian]

Whoe was this woman, who seemed to know so much? Her eyes narrowed as she outed her as the Night Watchman, and she checked around to make sure that no-one was close enough to have overheard. She did not want everyone knowing. She raised an eyebrow at the thought that anyone had Prince John wrapped around their little finger, but did not comment; the lady wanted Robin's answer, and so she would let him give it. She jumped as the arrows were fired behind her, and glared at Robin in a we-need-to-leave-now way.

[Robin Hood]

Robin had never heard of anyone having the Prince wrapped round their little finger, but then maybe Lady Rosetta's feminine charms worked well on him. It would certainly be useful to have someone who had influence over the Prince on the side of the Outlaws - but he had to ascertain first that she definitley was on their side. Killing the Sheriff...it was extremely risky.

"It's not safe for us to talk here," he murmered, as the arrows were shot. "Meet me in the forest, tomorrow, just off the main path. I'll be by the tallest Oak in the Foresty. And come alone." He glanced at Rosetta to make sure she understood, before jumping back onto the horse and placing his arms around his wife. "I'm glad we met, Lady Rosetta. Until tomorrow..."

[Lady Rosetta Court]

"Marion, Robin. I'm only here on buisness. Prince John wants me to be his. I'm on the run." she said. Just then I gaurd came up behind her and tied her hands together. "Stay still my Lady." he said. Rosetta had nothing but fear in her eyes. Then she remembered something her father had said to her. Rosetta. If you're ever caught, kick your attacker backwards and raise your arms above and over your head if they are tied. Then run. he had said. Rosetta did just that. She smiled at Robin and his wife and broke her bonds and mounted a nearby horse.
