Ok, this thread is to discuss what we all think of the rumours that Rob Kazinsky may be taking over from Jonas Armstrong. Post any news on this here, as well as your views. Will it be the same? Would we rather Robin died (*gasp*!) than have a replacement? Without the Sheriff, Jonas, Will and Djaq, is there any point in a series four? Let us know what you think here...

I think it would be really strange and just all wrong if all of those characters were different. But then again....no Robin hood?! D:

I have to admit, Rob K looks pretty hot. He's very similar, facially, to Jonas. I wonder if they'll go the same route as Richard Carpenter did with "Robin of Sherwood" back in the 80s. When Michael Praed (who played Robin) decided to leave the series, Richard wrote him out of the series. Of course, to continue, they needed someone to take over so enter Jason Connery as Robert of Huntingdon, the son of the Earl, who was chosen by Herne to succeed Robin as Robin i' the Hood (OK I think I'm probably showing my age here! LOL).
I can't help feeling thats probably the way they'll go as Richard Carpenter was also the first screen writer to bring a Saracen into the Merry Men. None of the RH legends say that there was a Saracen member.
The only other option would be to bring him in as an illegitimate brother to Robin.......

I agree with the looks part, but I just can't accept anyone new!! I never saw Robin of Sherwood (wasn't alive then - lol!) but I have a feeling that's the way they're going to go, although I don't think I agree with it!
The creator of Doctor Who made life so much easier for all the future directors/writers of that show. They don't know how lucky they are!

I have to admit, I'm worried that Keith Allen is going too. I'm beginning to doubt that the series will continue.
Robin of Sherwood - honestly, you don't know what you're missing. Try and get the DVD of the first series at least! Ray Winstone played Will Scarlett.......brilliant! Woah, head rush...Ray Winstone as the new Sheriff? It....Could.....Work!

Ray Winstone was Will Scarlett? I may have to hunt down a copy of the first series! Haha
Yeah, I'm worried about that too - with no (original) Marian, Robin or Sheriff, can it really go on? Hmm, Ray Winstone as Sheriff could work! I could see that being very amusing =]
