Often Roe would would get quite bored with his duties and take a walk through different parts of the castle structure. This day he had already sent he guards on their morning rounds through the castle. In the past, there were some days where he he would follow closely behind his guards, just to make sure they were fulfilling their roles properly. It had gotten to the point, recently, where they were well-trained enough and able to funvtion independently (unless their focus was on Robin Hood and then everything would fall apart). So, it wasn't necessary for him to accompany his guards everywhere all of the time. This was one of those mornings.
Roe decided to take advantage of his free time and explore different areas of the castle. He always liked to see new people and experience different places. He also found the process of walking and observing to be quite relaxing. Today he decided to take a different path. Orginally, upon seeing how bright and sunny the day was starting out he had contemplated just going out for a ride. However, at the last minute he decided tio take a walk through the center of the Sheriff's rooms. He was always interested in everyone and what they were doing, even as a lone investigator.
Eventually he found himself in the Staff Quarters area. He always felt more at ease if he kept his hands occupied, and this time he took out a block of wood and began to whittle on it. He was not concerned about the shavings he was leaving on the floor. If they were an issue he was determined to have someone educate him. He saw a girl on the other side of the room begin to look toward his direction. He reacted to her sudden interest by keeping all of his attention to the work. If she had something really significant to say she would more than willingly offer an opinion, he thought to himself. So, he really wondered what sge was thinking and feeling, and he hoped she would make herself clear shortly.
