Eve thanked her mother silently as Nottingham came into view. Jess had sent her on an errand that required going to Nottingham, and Eve knew that the item was not necessary. But it allowed Eve to get away from Bonchurch and wander for a while. With a great smile, she skipped into town.
Nottingham was much more alive than Bonchurch ever was, it was filled with people who just wanted to be outside, like her. The sun beat down on her back as she walked down street after street, content to just let her feet take her where ever they wished. If something caught her eye, she would walk over to it without a second thought. She was happy here, utterly happy.
That is, until she saw some of the Sheriff's guards approaching. With a gasp, she pulled back into the shadows of a nearby house and stayed there until they had passed. They might not have recognized her, but she wasn't going to tempt fate like that. She poked her head out curiously then walked back out into the sun with a grateful sigh.

Thea's chest heaved with a great sigh as she stood at the castle gates. She was bored and wished for some form of company. She considered going to The Trip, but decided that the company there wasn't what she was truly looking for. The castle couldn't hold her attention for more than a few moments, since it seemed completely empty. She sat down on the sun-warmed stone steps and looked out over the grounds, willing something to catch her eye. If she was being honest, she was really looking to find Roe. She liked his company and was missing it as of late, but hadn't acted upon it, fearing he wasn't keen of her presence. She wanted to know if they were still friends, if he'd spoken to Lady Isabella, if she was angry at Thea. If she could just meet with him, she was sure she would get her answers. Thea stood abruptly and brushed past the guards at the gates, making her way into Nottingham.
The town was certainly more alive than the castle and she was already beginning to feel the effects of the lighter mood. A smile lit up her face once she was immersed in the crowd. For a moment she just soaked up the feeling, letting the sun bathe her skin. A group of guards pushed past her roughly and she threw a small stone at one as he passed. He didn't notice fortunately and kept on walking with his fellow workers. A head popped out from the shadows a few feet from Thea and she walked over to investigate. "Hiding from guards is never a good sign," she said to the pretty blond.
