Robin jiggled on the spot, slightly furious at being caught unawares by the Friar. He lowered his bow. "Flaming heck, Tuck," the outlaw wondered if he'd be damned for swearing at a man of God. "Don't do that!" But, Robin couldn't help but smile. "Safe to say, it doesn't seem as though you've lost any of those skills you talk of. Although you're lucky you didn't get an arrow in your backside, eh Much?" The outlaw shook his head slowly.
"The amount of noise we're making, we'll be lucky to find anything at all to hunt in this vicinity." Robin muttered to himself as he took the arrow from his bow and returned it to the quiver strung across his back. "Can we at least try and be a bit more professional?" He asked his friends, before turning and stalking as silently as possible through the forest.

Allan made a face and raised his eyebrows at Robin, and threw an acorn at Much to attract his attention.
He pointed his thumb at his own chest and mouthed to the blonde man exaggeratedly:
'Unprofessional? Me?!'
Still, he unslung his bow from his shoulder and fell in behind Robin in hunting formation. Venison for dinner was too tempting to give up on for the sake of a good argument.

Tuck was afraid that this might happen. He didn't want his appearance to be such a surprise that it would shock. However, he was happy to see that he was still able to be sufficiently stealthy that he could sneak up on the likes of Robin, Allan, and Carter.
"Sorry, men, I didn't mean to sneak up on you and put a scare into anyone, or mean any disrespect," he said, looking at Much. "Actually I think that you are being quite 'professional', but I think you are used to hunting for smaller game as individual hunters, rather than bigger game, like deer, in a group. Unless you are hunting an old stag, for example, they tend to move in groups and have a group mentality. You have to use that against them I think."
Tuck pondered his past and thought about being in hunting parties as a youth. "What we may be doing right now is just driving the deer in front of us. However, it might be more effective if we set one person on the left and one person on the right to go off from the group at a 45 to 60 degree angle. They can then walk out several hundred yards, and then turn back to the inside, toward the stationary main group. If there are any deer there, hey would drive them toward the main hunting party. Just a thought," he whispered.

Robin grinned, but kept on his original course, as he listened to Tuck suggested the best way of hunting deer. Of course, what he said would work if you were a Nobleman on a hunt with dogs and horses, but on foot with one or two of you, it was best to hunt like a poacher, which meant stalking your deer first of all. Besides, Robin had always thought that if you drove the deer, they were more tense about their situation which then made the meat tougher.
Waving his hand, Rob indictated that if they wanted to, the others call fall into position behind him and Allan. Then, as carefully as possible so as not to step on anything that would make a noise and give away their position, the outlaws headed into the forest, now intent on their hunt.
