Have to agree with you there - no Carter! =( And I do think that 'Robin Hood' really has repeated itself so many times now - lots of episode ideas have just been re-used over the different series and it starts to get predictable. (eg. A non-canon enters for one episode, teaches one of the canons an imprtant life lesson, and then swiftly dies. Meg, Carter, Ruthless Rufus, Le Grand to name but a few.
I wasn't too sad about Marian's death in the series 2 finale (*ducks grenades and bullets*) - to be honest, she did get quite annoying, and you can only drag out the Guy vs Robin thing for so long. She should have got with Guy! He's evil, attractive, and wears black leather! What else do you want, Marian? (LoL - don't lynch me, please! I like Marian on the forum!)

I will be impartial, I will be impartial, I will not kill site members. =] Her death was so sad!! All deaths in RH are sad.
I agree with you about it getting repetitive though - I felt the first few episodes of S3 got repetitive, what with no Marian and quite similar plots, but then they really pulled it back with the Gisborne/Robin storyline, "death" of the Sheriff, and the finale.

Sorry Marian! =S Lucky I'm wearing a bullet-proof vest! Yeah, I agree, series 3 did improve as it got further along. I think, tough, that there might be too many episodes - there is a lot of repetition, which wouldn't happen if the series wasn't on for so long. (*ducks bombs and cannonfire*) (I'm having a day of it LoL.)
Have to say that it does get cliched... the bad guy turning good after all that evil stuff has been done before - but I did like it! I love the series - it's very entertaining, but often quite silly (eg. Tuck's peaceful protest last week - what is he, Gandhi? And Kate doing CPR on Robin - like they had that in the 12th Century - LoL.)

I'm gutted! The BBC have confirmed that there won't be any more series of RH. Well, I guess we all suspected it. After all they killed Robin off! And the Sheriff, Guy, Isabella..... What will we fill our Saturday nights with next year?  I hope they come up with something good. However, I don't think this means the end of things here on this board. The Legend lives on..... |
