Shaffiq falls asleep... [SLIGHT SMUT WARNING]

[Will Scarlett]

Will fell back onto the bench in the small room to the back of his workshop letting out an exhausted sigh as he did so, staring into the smoldering ashes in the fireplace. "He's settled down at last..." he said to Djaq who was sitting next to him, whispering quietly so as not to wake his young son who had awoken for what seemed like the thousandth time since Djaq had originally put him to bed in the small bedroom above them. Since then, he and Djaq had taken it in turns to try and settle the restless toddler, but now, at long last - he seemed to have drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

((yes i know Shaffiq was only born the other day, but we decided he is gunna grow up in like double time or something cos otherwise it'll be years - literally - before he can actually do anything lol))

[Djaq]

Djaq let out a sigh of relief, as Will came to sit next to her. "Thank goodness for that." she said, her thick saracen accent leaving her lips lazily.

After Will and Djaq had come to the conclusion that their Outlaw lifestyle would be too dangerous for a baby, they had decided to settled down and earn a decent living. Carpentry seemed like the perfect answer, what with Will having amazing carpentry skills. Business had not been too great, since they had only started up, but Djaq was happy enough that htye had a home of their own.

She snuggled up next to her husband and rested her head on his chest. She had become accustomed to wearing trousers again. It just made life so much easier. She proped her legs up beside her and closed her eyes warily. She was so tired. For the whole day, she had either been looking after Shafiq, or helping Will making various things out of wood.

Will wrapped his long, slender arm around Djaq's petite figure and slumped back further into the bench, exhausted. "I've just realized," he began thoughtfully, "this must be the first evening we have had alone together since we came back to England..." he continued as his mouth spread into a grin across his face and he looked down at his wife. It was true though - ever since they had been back in England, they had never been alone, even since moving into their new home, as usually Shaffiq did not settle and so either one, or both of Djaq and himself would have to spend the night gently rocking their son to stop him from crying.

[Djaq]

At Will's words, Djaq's eyes fluttered open, and she shifted her body slightly so that she was looking up at him. She gave him a cheaky grin. "What did you have in mind, oh husband of mine?" Djaq asked with a laugh.

She sat up straight, and started to absentmindedly fiddle with Will's scruffy black hair. "Do you really think we can handle more than one child right now?" she asked, her eyes wide. In a way she did want another child. But both Will and Djaq knew that they wern't ready.

'Whatever made you think that's what I was talking about?!' said Will, feigning a look of complete shock at Djaq's mention of babies. 'But now you come to mention it.....' he continued cheekily, turning his body so he was sitting upright facing Djaq, and resting his hands gently on either side of her waist, his grin slowly growing ever wider across his face. 'I dunno about any more children... but that's not guaranteed to happen is it...' he said as he planted a gentle kiss on her lips.

[Djaq]

Djaq returned his kiss, but then gave him a gentle nudge. "You silly man." she said with a giggle, and then cuddled up towards him. She sighed with content. "I still remember when I first set eyes on you." she said dreamily. "I never would have thought that this is how we would end up. Married, with our own home, and our own child." She hummed and then looked back up at her husband.

"I also remember when you first saw me as...well...a woman." she said with a small snigger. "That was so embarrassing!" she said, her cheeks reddening, even at the thought. But looking back, I am glad it happened." she said, staring into the distance.

Will laughed out loud, but then remembering the trouble they'd been through to get Shaffiq to sleep, he toned his laugh down to a quiet chuckle. "I'm glad it happened too..." Will shuffled slightly away from Djaq, folding his arms, putting on a mock annoyed face."...but jeessh.... I shoulda gotten a better look whilst I had the chance, cos it doesn't seem like I'm gunna be getting anymore of that for a while...!"

Djaq couldn't help but smile, but desperately tryed to hide it with an unimpressed look. She pulled at his arms so that they wern't crossing anymore. "Wiiilll," she said, laughing slightly as his arms failed to budge. "Don't be moody with me." she said, joining in with the mock annoyed face. "Otherwise you're definately not getting anything."

She frowned and then grinned, holding his hands in hers and rocking backwards and forewards with laughter.

Will's expression of mock annoyance disappeared from his face as it was replaced with an amused, but 'fine - I give up' type look, before turning deadly serious as he moved to face Djaq, taking her hand in his. 'You know that I don't mean it... you know I would never sulk about something like that and that I am just happy to be here sitting with you. You, along with Shaffiq, are my world, and nothing will ever change that and I will only ever want to... um... you know... when you are comfortable and feel ready for it, and I will never push you into anything when you don't want to....' he trailed off, feeling slightly more diffident than he did a few moments ago, but he hoped that Djaq understood the important message he was trying to convey.

[Djaq]

Djaq bit her lip at Will's words. He often didn't say many, but when he did, they could be the most beautiful thing in the world. She squeezed his hands tightly, and then rested a hand gently on his cheek. "Will..." she started, before nestling herself onto his sholder. "I love you so much," she whispered, placing her arms behind his neck and holding him tighter. "You silly man." she added, smiling to herself.

After a while, she released him from her grasp, and then gave him a delicate peck on the nose. There was a moment of silence, and Djaq's deep brown eyes gazed into Will's. "If you really want to..." Djaq said in a low voice, tipping her head to one side. "You've been such a good husband, I supposed I couldn't really refuse..."

Smiling to himself with the realization that his wife was indeed 'ready' that evening and that he need not worry about annoying her or pushing her into doing something that she didn't feel like doing, Will decided to tease her. "I love you very much too..." he grinned cheekily "but I think you might've missed your chance now..." he trailed off as he gazed into Djaq's deep, dark eyes - filled with love for him, and after a moments pause for thought, he quickly came to the conclusion that with a woman as amazing, beautiful and irresistible as his wife, he would never be able to play hard to get however much he tried!

"But on second thoughts...." he continued slowly in a deep, husky voice before pausing for a second or two, studying her beautiful features. "Maybe it's not too late..." And with that, he turned his body to face hers and lurched forwards towards her, his male and animal instincts taking over as he kissed her passionately.

((haa I'm sorry - but I'm suffering from Will and Djaq withdrawal symptoms and needed something to cheer me up ))

Djaq gasped as Will lunged towards her and pulled him closer, one hand tangled in his dark hair, the other around his waist, as he kissed his way down her neck passionately. "Will...." she cried out, fighting for the breath that Will seemed to be drawing from her. Why and how had Djaq ever even considered for a moment denying her husband, and herself this? It was perfect. He was perfect. They were perfect. Will and Djaq - together now, and always.
With this new splurge of intense passion for her husband, Djaq pushed Will to the floor and promptly slipped down from the seat onto the floor beside him. 'Hello Scarlett...' she grinned seductively at him.

Shaffiq let out a wail. He was hungry.
