Well I'm sat here, charging up my iPod and looking through my playlists. And I got to wondering, what song or music do you associate with your character? And also why?
Robin is difficult because I've only recently inherited him, but I think the artist I associate most with him is James Blunt. Perhaps a good song would be "No Bravery".
Morgan is easy for me. Its got to be Muse's Supermassive Black Hole. I can just imagine him swaggering around to that fantastic intro..
Sister Mags is another strange one to think about, after all she's a nun! Should I pick something classical or more folksy? Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson - is that too twee? "Out of the darkness and into the sun" great lyrics.... Or maybe Regina Spektor's "The Call", which was used on the Prince Caspian soundtrack? LOL

Oh my goodness this is such a good idea! LMAO! Only thing is - I can't think of anything for any of my characters. But I just suck like that Much would be something cute. Carter something sexy. Djaq something...fiesty? Edward something grumpy.

I agree with Much - this is a very good idea! And Robin, I love 'No Bravery' by James Blunt! (Just thought you should know that, by the way). When I was trying to think of music that I associated with Isabella, KT Tunstall came to mind, as her music is a mixture of feisty, upbeat tracks, and slower, more gentle songs. For Isabella's fiesty side, it has to be 'Another Place to Fall'. I think 'Silent Sea' really represents her character when she was younger - a girl who was happy until she was forced into an unhappy marriage. It's really the lyrics that makes me think this, especially the lines: I was happy in my harbour 'til you cut me loose, floating on an ocean in confusion... And for Djaq, what about 'Waiting' by There for Tommorow? It's a fast-paced song and the chorus is: Slowly pushing me, I'm turning peace around, but there is something that I have to feel proud, sooner or later we will be fighting out, simply waiting, is this as safe as sound? For me, that sums up Djaq.

Just a quick edit! LOL. I've found the perfect song for Robin. "Send Yourself Away" by the glorious Seth Lakeman (Seth, you are a god!!!!!!) Can I just also say, Seth does a brilliant acoustic version of this on YouTube.
"Poor as paupers, proud as kings, All we do is aim for better things.
That finger, finger of faith comes out and touches me, It`s better, better late than never for honesty, That sender, go and send yourself another dream.
Go and send yourself away, go and dream, Go and dream, go and send yourself away.
Poor as paupers, proud as kings, All we do is aim for better things.
Your so tender, tender eyes, release that golden view. It`s simple, simple friendship, flowers are passed to you, Your picture, picture perfect, pathways are laid for you.
Go and send yourself away, go and dream, Go and dream, go and send yourself away.
Poor as paupers, proud as kings, All I do is aim for better things"

Oh wow! I'm loving 'Send Yourself Away'. That song is just so Robin all over! That should become the new 'Robin Hood' theme tune, (although the current, sweeping, dashing-across-the-woodlands one is still very much appreciated.) By the way, for Edward Griffin, I think 'Let it Die' by the Foo Fighters is a good song. It goes quiet, loud, quiet, loud in a mood-swinging way that's quite like him. The lyrics of the first verse are: Heart of gold but it's lost its pride, beautiful face and bloodshot eyes, I've seen your face in another light, why'd you have to go and let it die? I think it's very Edward.
