Drake Black's House

[Drake]

He aimed carefully. Then with a swift motion, threw one of his two daggers at the wall.

It hit the target nearly a bullseye.

"Not bad." he told himself. He collected his dagger from the target ring and continued to practice.

[Will Scarlett]

Will knocks on the door before entering and calling out "hello?" to which he got no answer.
He turned to Djaq "I don't think he is in. Shall we just leave the money on the table?"

[Djaq]

Djaq looked rather dissapointed. She wanted to know what this "Drake Black" looked like. She had never seen him before.
"Can't we, wait for a bit? Maybe he's in his house and just not replying?" She said hopefully looking up at Will.

[Will Scarlett]

Smiles down at her "Yeah sure" He goes and sits down on a bench indicating for Djaq to come and sit with him. "He wont mind us staying here for a bit, I mean, he's getting some money out of this, so he can't exactly complain!"

[Djaq]

Djaq laughed and sat down next to Will, looking around. She spotted a target with several daggers sticking out of it, very near the bullseye. She grimaced slightly.
"Not what you'd expect to see in a peasants home..." She said, frowning at the target puzzled.
"Hmm, I think theres more to this "Drake Black" than what meets the eye..."

[Will Scarlett]

He looks over to where she is looking and looks slightly worried. "We ought to be careful, cos, as you say, there may be more to him than appears at first. You still wanna wait?"

[Djaq]

"Sure, why not." she said bravely. But she checked that her sword was in its hilt. "And anyway, I've got my sword!" she said smiling. "He better not give us any trouble!"
She got up and walked around, "and anyway, he is only a peasant, what harm can he do?"
She walked up to the target and examined the daggers. She raised her eyebrows impressed. "I take that back, he could do alot of harm with these daggers." She took one out of the bullseye and felt the end. She cut her finger. "Ouch!" She carefully put the dagger back into the target, sucking her finger frowning. "I still don't understand this..."

[Will Scarlett]

On hearing her say "ouch" he jumps up off the table and hurries over to her worriedly "You ok? What happened?"

[Djaq]

"I'm fine! I'm fine Will!" she laughed at Wills concern. "I just cut my finger on one of his daggers!" She pushed Will away. "I'm fine!"

[Will Scarlett]

Still slightly worried "You sure? And anyway, of he's just a peasant, then why does he own all these expensive looking daggers?"

[Djaq]

"I'm sure theres nothing to worry about..." said Djaq, unconvincingly. "He probably just...just collects daggers..." She smiled meekly and stood closer to Will.

[Will Scarlett]

He notices that Djaq has moved closer to him and suspects that she, like him, thinks that these daggers are more than just a collection. They look used and the owner is obviously very good with them as he was very close to the bullseye. He puts his arm around Djaq's shoulders and sys slowly and unconvincingly "Yeah. I guess so."

[Djaq]

Djaq frowned at her own stupidity. How could stationary daggers scare her in the slightest? Perhaps it was the fact they belonged to a peasant.
But even after this she wanted to stay. She wanted to see the owner of the daggers. She touched her sword that was in its hilt and looked over at Wills axe. They were well armed. No harm would be done to them.
"Lets stay" she said bluntly "After all this, I want to see the owner of these daggers."

[Will Scarlett]

"Yeah. I wanna met this Drake Black and I wanna find out where he got these weapons." there was a silence "We'll be ok - you have your sword, and I have my axe. Do you think we should still give him the money?"

[Djaq]

Djaq looked doubtful. "I'm not sure..." she said, still staring over at the daggers.
