A queit tap at the door was heard as Lady Marian hoped Guy would not notice she was a few minutes over the hour he had allowed her. She was supposed to come and tell him when she returned, and so here she was.
"Sir Guy?" She called out, almost hoping he wasn't there. Then he couldn't punish her for those few moments...

"I am merely informing you I have returned, Sir Guy." Would he notice the time? Most probably. He was that sort of man...

She sighed silently, annoyed he had noticed - and pretty sure it was only five minutes she was late. "Ten minutes? I lost track of time, Sir Guy...I'm sorry."
She paused; where had she been? The outlaws camp. But she was hardly going to tell him that. "I was merely speaking with the physician, about my fathers health." She lied, semi-convincingly. "I did not notice that the hour was up."

She looked shocked; "How dare you say that of me? Of course I wasn't!" She did not appreciate Sur Guy making false accusations like this - it wasn't fair. She did not want to end up with that sort of reputation, especially as none of it was true.
"And how is that my fault, Sir Guy?" She asked, with a cold stare. "I was talking to you, as you said, then I left. If they escaped it's is your guards fault." She answered, pleased that Djaq and Will had escaped.

"I am not lying!" She insisted hotly - lying. "I do not appreciate that you think I was the one to blame. Perhaps your guards are just not up to their job."
After his attempt at making him kiss her, in the dungeons previously, she was worried about what her punishment would be. He was a cruel man - but she wouldn't do that, would she? For her father, maybe....

Pulling her hand, away, Marian looked extremely annoyed with Sir Guy. This was not a fair punishment! "So you wish to win my affections by forcing me to kiss you?" She asked, with a glare, "You disgust me."
She couldn't completely dismiss the idea though; her father couldn't cope with less water. "Guy this is not fair. It is a cruel punishment, and it just proves what a sadistic man you really are." She hated him for this; for what she was asking her to do.
Turning away from the door, she didn't leave - she had to know if he was serious about lowering her fathers water.

Placing a hand on the door, she shut it with surprising strength as Gisborne went to close the door. This wasn't fair!
"Gisborne, there must be some other way we can sort this! Do not punish my father. I was only a few moments late, and the other matter did not concern me. Can't we just forget about it?" She paused, "Please?" She added, softly.

laughs. He knew he was always helping her but this time he had her right where he wanted her. He had to be cruel to be kind and this was one of those times. He knew she was trying to make him agree with her but he shook his head

"Neither!" She shouted, and it was clear she was definitley against both ideas. "This is not fair, Gisborne." She replied, "You are blackmailing me. I thought we were supposed to be friends?"
"There must be a different way to sort this. You are being unreasonable."
