Marian looked surprised at the kindness; yes, he had mentioned it, but she hadn't expected him to follow through with it. "Thank-you, Sir Guy..." He was correct; why would she stay if her father was no longer here? There was no reason. Not that he should be locked up at all.

*before anyone can notice him he grabs as much money as he can and stuffs it in his boots, his hat, his pockets, and anywhere else it will fit and then checks on where Djaq is before darting back behind the table*

She looked up at Guy, and nodded. "Friendship, Sir Guy. Nothing more." She paused, "Friendship is extremely important to me. My friends do not bully, blackmail or betray me." She was telling him that if he did any of those things again, the friendship would most certainly be at an end.
"The peasants seem to be enjoying the ball." She commented. She looked worredly at Gary; "Although that man looks like he's in trouble! We must help."
