She'd made it into the castle's grounds without a problem. Strange. But she hopefully wouldn't be there long, all she had to do was give Marian the ring.
The way Robin said it, she could tell it was very important, she couldn't help but wonder why it was so important but decided to put the thoughts out of her head, it was afterall none of her business.

Marian was, coincidentally, taking a stroll in the castle at that moment, and wandered into the grounds a few moments after Alexis arrived. She hadn't actually met Alexis, and did not recognise the woman: Robin had spoken of someone new in the gang, but having never seen her, she wouldn't know...

She spotted Marian walking and walked towards her, "Lady Marian." she said, "I'm Alexis Bailey, i'm in Robin's gang," holding out the ring, she continued, "He asked me to give this to you."

She looked slightly surprised at the woman suddenly talking to her, but as she introduced herself she realised who this was. "Alexis?" She remembered the name, but was still unsure as to whether to trust this woman - and possibly there was a slight jealously that this extremely pretty girl got to spend time with her fiance. Not that she knew they were engaged of course. She had known Djaq when they thought she was a boy, and so although Djaq was pretty too, Marian didn't feel...threatened.
She looked at the ring, and held it in her hand for a moment, silent whilst she placed it on her ring finger. Whether Alexis would notice this or not, she didn't know; but that was where it belonged. "Why..." She paused, "Thank you. Why could Robin not come?"

"He didn't say.." she replied, "He made it clear it was very important that I got it to you though." She could tell Marian had expected Robin to bring it himself, why didn't he?

She nodded, if a little sadly. "Ok. Well, thanks anyway, Alexis." She looked furtivley around, making sure no guards were looking suspicious, then turned back to Alexis. "How are things in camp then?" She asked quietly. If Alexis was caught here, she would no doubt be in serious trouble - and Marian's position as a spy would be greatly endangered too.
