Little John grumbled under his breath as Rosetta insulted him. So what if he was slow? He had strength over her, didn't he? And so what if she was armed? He had his staff to hit her with if she got violent. And a snail? No one could possibly be as slow as a snail. Especially not Little John.
Ritual? Oh, this was great. They had to go to Clun. Not for some silly little ritual thing where ever she was going. Little John sighed as she started to trot. "You have to go to Clun, and you are having our 'protection' whether you want it or not." He picked up his staff and started to lumber after her.

Carter raised his eyebrows at Rosetta's less-than-ladylike remarks, and was about to retort. But he held his tongue as he realised John would probably not appreciate his retaliation, and would rather do it himself. He started to walk briskly after Rosetta as she climbed her horse and started to trot. Stupid woman he thought as she defied their orders. But when she broke into a swifter trot, Carter started to get angry. "Oh you f-" he yelled, as Little John started running after her, staff at the ready.
Before Carter had even taken a step, he whipped out the bow he had slung over his back, and readyed the bow with a quiver in the matter of a nanosecond. He strung the bow, added some pressure by pulling the string backwards, and released, causing the arrow to go whizzing through the air, and precisely hit Rosetta's horse, right in the flank. Carter winced as the horse produced a shrill whinny, but none-the-less, drew an arrow for another hit.
Carter struck again, and again, until the horse had to stop, and lie down, giving way to the pain. Carter closed his eyes in regret, and the sprinted forewards, slinging his bow back over his shoulder. He didn't enjoy hurting defenceless animals, but the good of England had to come first, and Rosetta had to be stopped, and be given a piece of his mind.

"We are not going anywhere Robin says." Rosetta said firmly. She laughed. "Anyway Joh and I aren't getting married in Nottingham." she smirked. She gallopped off into the distance.

Robin raised his hood over his head and was about to tell Much that when they reached the castle gates, he would need to stop so the outlaws could disembark and hurry to hide in the church before Much and Allan got there. However, Robin didn't have time to utter a single word before a ruckus broke out behind the carriage. Swivelling around on the wooden seat, Robin watched as Lady Rosetta decided to ignore all the good advice she'd been given and then the consequences that followed her actions. He marvelled at Carter's skill with the bow, admiring the precision of the Knight's aim.
"I don't bloody believe this!" he exclaimed, looked at Much and rolling his eyes, before leaping down from the carriage and running back down the road towards Carter, John and their charge. Reaching his friends, Robin didn't stop but continued pounding down the road until he reached Rosetta on horseback. The horse had been brought to a standstill, pawing on the spot and napping against its bit. Robin grabbed hold of the beast's bridle with one hand then reached up and grasped hold of Rosetta's sleeve. Bunching up the material, the outlaw pulled her from the saddle. Leaning in close, he looked menacingly into her eyes. "You were warned, my Lady. And now your fine horse is hurt."
Robin tightened his hold, tearing the material of her bodice. "I've never been one to use violence against a woman, but you are sorely testing me. I've got a good mind to hand you over to Prince John and hang the consequences! Now do as you're told or I'll get Little John to lay you out." Robin released Rosetta's arm and flung her in front of him. "Start walking." He indicated for the Lady to walk ahead of him, back towards John and Carter. "And I suggest, next time, when you choose a religion, whatever it is, make sure its one that's more accommodating. You can do your so-called ritual when you get to Clun." Robin scowled as he brushed past her.
Stopping in front of Carter and Little John, Robin grimaced again. "Good tactic," he mentioned to Carter. "Get her weapons and bind her hands, but get her to Clun before I change my mind and let her marry the Prince. I'm beginning to think they both deserve each other!"

Rosetta drew her sword. "You're not the one to order me. You have no idea how good I am with a blade." she said. "I will not do my religious duties to the God and the Goddess in Clun I will do it where I please." she said. "You're walking a fine line. If I do not have my way you can forget my givings to the poor." she said.

((ooc: We discussed the plot for this storyline....it would help it we kept to it! I know its vague in parts, but Rosetta, Hunny, you really need to cooperate now! enough is enough.))
Robin could not believe what he was hearing. Hissing, he turned back to Rosetta and drew his own sword. Slowly, the outlaw advanced on her, his stance ready. "You're good with a blade?" He questioned, raising his sword arm and bringing down a ringing blow on her blade with his own. "Many of us here, fought in the Holy Land, while you were still running around playing with dollies. Don't insult us."
Deftly, Robin disarmed Rosetta, her sword flying high into the air and landing at Little John's feet. "Talking of fine lines, you have definitely crossed mine! And don't you worry about the poor." Robin stabbed his thumb into his chest. "WE look after them!" With a nod of his head, Robin indicated for Little John and Carter to do what they needed. It was time the outlaws and the "bridal" party got on the road to the wedding.

Little John watched Robin approach her. He could see he was getting angry. Robin never did that sort-of thing to a woman. And here he was, getting angry with a woman. He raised his staff and slowly walked over to Lady Rosetta. He waited till she pulled her sword out at Robin and swung at her head, knocking her to the floor and out cold.
He took the sword off of the floor and gave it to Carter, before tying up her hands and slinging her over his shoulder. "Sorry about that, but she was bugging me." Little John nodded towards Clun. "Onward, Carter?"

A few minutes later Rosetta woke up. She noticed she was slung over John's shoulder. "Hey put me down!" she said. She sighed. "What's the use? It's not lie I've doen any good to the world." she said. "Look I'm sorry ok? I was terrible. I know what you people are trying to do is for me but...I want to go through with it. It was my father's dying wish." she said.

Little John just carried her along, ignoring her pleas and apologies. He was pretty much sick of her to be completely honest and wished that she could have been out longer. But he hadn't hit her hard enough apparently. He sighed as she carried on talking. "Look, I'm not letting you down. If you talk to me again, I'll knock you out. So just shut your mouth and let me walk in peace."

"Urgh not very talkative are you?" she said. "Where's Daredevil?" she asked. "i must know where my horse is or by the Goddess i will curse you!" she said. "Ok I'll shut up now I think I'm finished. No wait a minute....OK now I'm done!" she said. She hummed a soft Celtic song that her mother had sung to her when she was a child.

Carter walked behind the huge shadow John and Rosetta were casting. He clutched Rosetta's sword awkwardly, and as she woke up, he groaned. That's when the talking started. If only Carter could shut his ears, but his hands were full. He simply kept quiet, an unamused look fixed on his face, trudging half heartedly behind John.
"You're horse?" he said in a low voice. The horse was still probably lying on the road somewhere. But it looked tough, it would be able to look after itself. "I don't know where it is. But right now you just have to come with us." he kept his voice as calm as he could, although he did feel like he was going to explode if she said anything else annoying.

Allan stuck his head out of the window of the carriage, bored of sulking and wondering why Rosetta had stopped arguing. After the raised voices of a few minutes ago, they'd ambled along at a vaguely respectable pace, and his curiosity was beginning to get the better of him.
"What's on then?" he asked Much nervously. "Everything going to plan now?"

Tuck, knowing Lady Rosetta's past history, had ever expected her to even come close to cooperating. She always marched to her own drummer and music. The thing was that she was the only one who could ever understand the tune. The only cooperation that she knew was the cooperation of the unconscious. Tuck had some experience with putting who out for an extended period of time in the Infirmary at the Priory.
Tuck had been a late joiner to this little adventure, and unless his assistance was asked for, figure the wisest course was to stay in the shadows, out of direct involvement. Plus the way that he felt about the Lady Rosetta did not make him the best candidate for being her jailkeeper.
"She is fortunate that the tactics that both Carter and Little John used kept her in custody. If you remember the oath that I made to her that if she escaped their custody that she would not have long to wait for retaliation from me .... a retaliation that would be seen as being a final solution to Lady Rosetta," he said somewhat darkly.

"Look, Lady, I'm sick of you. Carter's sick of you. If I had my way I'd have gotten rid of you ages ago, not carried you tied up to Clun. But I believe Robin knows what he is doing, so just shut up and stop talking to the both of us, ok?" Little John growled, moving her roughly onto his other shoulder.
Little John glanced back at Carter with a look of frustration. She was so annoying and he was reaching the end of his tether. Robin better have a good reason for all this. "Tell me again why we are doing this, Carter?" Little John asked, frowning.
