Allan snorted at Robin's words, imagining himself as Prince John's wife. Then he stopped abruptly. "What, so I'm going all the way through with it? I have to walk down the aisle, and stand face to face with John at the altar? First of all, I hope it's a bloody heavy veil, and second, what do you expect to happen when the priest says "You may kiss the bride?"
He was really regretting stepping up voluntarily. What had he got himself into?

Robin smiled to himself as Allan started to complain. "Well I don't really think it'll get that far, Allan. But if Prince John tries to kiss you, then punch him in the face or something." He grinned. "Anyway, I was hoping that when the priest got to the 'Does anyone object', then I was going to stand up but if you want to go all the way through the ceremony, then its your choice." Robin was now visibly shaking with laughter at his friend and patted Allan on the shoulder. "Cheer up, if the Prince is surprised to see you in place of his bride, how do you think he's feel if it were Little John instead?" Robin winked at the group's big man.

Allan rolled his eyes and buried his face in his hands.
"Good God Robin, is this really the best way to go about this? I mean, I'm all in favour of a dramatic entrance, and this one'll probably be the most dramatic of my life, but even so..."
He trailed off as he started thinking about it. It would be dramatic, wouldn't it? No bugger would be expecting it, well, except for the fifty or so people that already seemed to get clued into most of their plans-
It'd be a hell of a story to tell round the fire, or more likely, in the pub. And people would be talking about it for years.
"Sod it," he said brightly. "What's life without a little excitement, eh? You're on, Robin. I'll be your decoy bride." He grinned facetiously. "Try and keep yourself under control when you get a look at me all dolled up, yeah?"

Much shuddered with laughter at Allan's origional dismayal. But as soon as he agreed, Much walked over beside him and gave him a hard slap on the back. He said nothing, but simply gave him an incouraging grin, and then sat back down with content. If anything, at least this day would be one to remember.
"Okay then." said Much, picking up his short sword and round shield from besides him. "Which route do you think the carriage will be taking towards where the wedding is?" he asked Robin. He hoped part of the route would be quiet, although it was quite unlikely, so that the Outlaws would have the oppertunity to attack the carriage. Whenever in doubt, just ask Robin. He'd at least make up the answer. Much also picked up a spare set of quivers and an bow, and slung them across his back. At times like these, it was best to be prepared. Much was actually quite a good shot, but of course his abilities where depressingly overshadowed by Robins.

Tuck had been traversing with the outlaws in silence has they had been having a good time in planning the ways that they would intervene in Prince John's wedding. However, he, like Roe he assumed. had come to the view that the best time or place to have the gang accept him as a member was in the middle of a crucial operation. "Robin," he said finally. "Since I am not yet an official member of the outlaws, and its likely that I would just get in the way of your plans, since I would not have a role, I think that now wold be the best time to take leave of you. I think that Sister Mags is in need of some assistance at the Infirmary at the Priory, and for the time being at least, that's where I can be of the most assistance. You have more than enough to keep you occupied without worrying about me, and you seem to have your plans well in hand. If you have need of me in the aftermath, at least, you will know where I canbe found. Adieu!"

Robin tried to keep a straight face as Allan finally agreed to act as the decoy. "I'll try to keep myself under control, Al." But he failed and a snigger slipped out. Robin slapped his hand across his mouth.
He sobered up though, when Tuck took his leave. "Very well, Tuck. Its probably a good idea if you assist the good Sisters." Robin replied, more serious now. "When this is over, we'll talk again. As far as I'm concerned, I'd be more than happy to have you join us and, as such, I want to give you this." Reaching into his pocket, Robin took out a carved wooden tag and placed it in Tuck's hand. "Until we meet again." Robin left his words hanging in the air as he turned and started jogging towards Locksley.
"Hopefully, Much, if Lady Rosetta has lodgings in the village, then we can ambush her on the way to Nottingham. If not, well we'll just have to come up with something else." The outlaw called over his shoulder
(ooc: Perhaps we should now move to Locksley?)

Kate’s gaze skipped through them as they talked. She did her best to keep up with Robin as they jogged towards Locksley and though she was trying her best she couldn’t not help but stumble a good few times.
“It will take the main rout wont it because John will want to flaunt it. If I was him then I would have them brig her by the road where most people would see her.”
Thank god she wasn’t him and now that she new the reason for not being considered as the switch for Lady Rosetta she felt a whole lot better. Kate chuckled at the thought of Allan in a wedding dress. It certainly was an odd image to be picturing. Would he even fit in to Lady Rosetta’s dress and what would she be wearing after the switch Allan’s clothes…Bet he would love that, Kate thought as she yanked up her dress to skip over to tree roots.

"Thank you Robin," he called out after him. He watched them recede rapidly in the distanced as they jogged away towards Locksley, and he turned himself towards Nottingham. Almost immediately he questioned whether he had made the right decision to leave the group of outlaws that he had spent so much time and effort in seeking out. Obviously he had Robin's trust, or he would not have given him the badge or said what he had. Tuck simply was not sure what assistance he could provide in helping keep the Prince alive and well. For the first time Tuck was really unsure about the path he should take. Perhaps sister Mags would be able to give him some effective guidance he thought. "I will raise the matter with her myself as soon as I see her," he whispered to himself.
