Will stepped up to Peter's front door and knocked loudly three times for knew that Peter often snoozed throughout the day and would not awaken unless he knocked very loudly. As he waited for an answer, Will took a step back from the door turned to face Djaq who was holding their son in her arms. "I hope he's in," he grinned "cos I'm starving and I'm exhausted!"

Peasant Peter opened the door wildly, which scraped a bit of Daniel's head off Peter, being so thick, still noticed nothing, except his three dearest friends standing outside his house "DO COME IN MY FELLOW FRIENDS" he cried, in the tune of his favourite song, which again bought tears to his eyes as he remembered that dance... ((I'm gunna leave this here just for pure ness but ignore the bit bout Daniel cos that doesn't fit in with anything... - Will))

Djaq laughed and shook her head and Peter. He really was a strange one. They stepped into Peter's house and stood awkwardly by the door. "Peter, we need a favour from you." Djaq said pleadingly. She was sure he'd be alright with it, but it was still a bit inpolite to knock on someones door and ask them to stay for a while. Who knows how long they would be staying there.

Will explained his and Djaq's situation to their friend, trying carefully not to confuse him as he was not the brightest of men, but seeing a happy, beaming grin spread across Peter's face, Will sighed a big sigh of relief. He had no idea what they would have done if Peter had refused them a place to stay, but luckily, Peter welcomed them into his small home and quickly set about showing them around - not that there was much to show - just a small dark room with a ladder leading to another similar one on the next floor up. Before long, Will and Djaq were lying on the mattress in the upstairs room of the house with Shafiq snoring quietly in a basket at the foot of the bed. They had intended just to sleep on the floor in the downstairs of the house, but Peter would not let this be the case, and had very generously insisted on them taking the bed whilst he took the bench in the kitchen area of the downstairs room. As they lay there in the dark, they could hear Peter's loud, heavy snoring and occasional sleep talking/singing breaking the silence of the night. ((sorry for the godmodding - i have written permission from peter ))

Djaq lay in silence for a few moments. She was not able to sleep because of Peter's horendously loud snoring. Even when she had slept in the camp, the snoring of 5 men had not been as loud. Djaq rolled over. Even the bed she had slept in in the Holy land was much more comfortable than this. This bed seemed to be as hard as rock. Djaq tried to pre-occupy her mind, and perhaps trick herself into sleep. That didn't work. She tried thinking about the day she had just had. That didn't work. Djaq narrowed her eyes in annoyance.

Feeling her roll over yet again next to him, Will turned to face his wife and discovered that she had turn to face away from him. She had been tossing and turning for a while now which must have meant that something was bothering her - usually she was asleep within minutes. But then again, Peter's sleep singing probably wasn't helping her get to sleep!
He gently rested a hand on her shoulder and whispered "Saff...?" There was no answer, but he could tell that she wasn't asleep so tried again. "Hey... Saff... you okay...?" he asked in a caring tone.

Djaq grumbled, and turned around to face Will. "No. I can't sleep." she whispered, still frowning. "Peter's snoring is so loud, I haven't heard anything like it!" she couldn't help but smile a little, "and I've never heard anyone sleep-sing before." she did a small laugh and then looked at Will. "I think we should really try to find a place of our own."
"But there are so many things we have to think about." She sighed. "Like if we had to help out Robin, what would we do with Shafiq?"

"Yeah... the noises Peter makes are very..." he paused, trying to think of the right word, "unusual..." Will chuckled quietly and pulled Djaq into a loving hug. "We will get a place of our own - very soon. I promise" He kissed her gently on the top of her head and continued, "But," he sighed, "for now, we will just have to put up with Peter's strange ways! And when we have our own place, I'm sure there will be plenty of people to take care of Shaf at times when we aren't able to, so everything will be just fine. But don't worry about all of that now - just try and get some sleep, and we can think about everything else in the morning."

Gary knocked at the door.
He had looked everywhere for Will, and remembered that that Peter guy knew him... or at least they'd spoken before.
To be honest, he was just bored, but also thought it might be interesting to talk to Will about his brother.
He hadn't seen either he or Djaq for so long, and would love to talk to them.
By now, however, he was a little frustrated... he had looked everywhere for them!

Hearing a loud bang on the door, Will awoke with a jump. He sat up slightly and as he looked down at his still sleeping family, was reminded of how very little sleep he had got that night, what with Peter's never ending strange noises and snoring. He wondered how Djaq, Shafiq or himself had ever got to sleep with the racket that that man managed to make throughout the night, and was still doing so now. There was a second knock on the door, and when Peter's snoring continued, Will decided that he probably ought to answer the door as it was obvious that Peter was not going to.
Will clambered off the mattress, careful not to awaken Djaq or his son, and climbed down the ladder to the downstairs room in which Peter was sleeping. He made his way over to the door and opened it cautiously, very aware that it could well be a tax collector, or worse, Gisborne coming to trouble Peter, as he had done in the past.

Peter also awoke with a jump, but it wasn't a graceful jump like Will's, it was more of a trip, as he fell to the ground and skidded to the open door on his oversized belly. As he looked up, he saw...the back of Will's head. This annoyed him greatly. This was HIS house, and only HE has the privalidge of opening his own front door. He never gave Will permission to open it! Angry as hell, he searched around for a weapon of mass destruction to use on the poor gentleman. As his eyes swept the room, they fell on his most prized possesion - his grandfather's shovel. Tears came to his eyes as he remembered when he was a little boy... ...on that cloudy day he and his grandfather were harvesting potatoes for the village spud competition when his grandfather fell down into a hole in the vagetable patch, little Peter had saved him using his quick thinking and skill. Grandfather Bob was so pleased that he gave his only possession to the little boy... Eyes swimming with tears, Peter grabbed the shovel, his grandfather's voice still in his mind, and hurled it above his shoulders. Eyes crossed with concentration at his aim, he swung the shovel down, right on top of Will's head.

The whole room began to swirl around Will as his legs buckled beneath him.
Then, blackness.

Gary cried out as Will fell on the floor.
There was Peasant Peter, yielding a shovel.
"P- Peter, why did you do that?" Gary stuttered. Worried that this crazy - and overweight - man would hit him as well.

Lady Mary was taking a leasurly stroll through Nottingham. She heard a large amount of noise coming from a particular house. She ran over. She saw a man standing at the doorway, and rudely pushed him aside.
And that when she saw him.
At first she thought he was an angel. But then she came to the conclusion he was much more beautiful. She walked over to him in a daze and draped herself over him. "Oh my godness, who are you," She looked into his eyes and felt herself falling under his spell. "I've never seen anything more beautiful, whats your name?" She was finding it quite difficult to fit her arms around his large stomach, but that was part of the glory of it. She was in love. She knew it. "Let us alope!" she said, taking hold of the beautiful mans chubby hand, and dragging him out of the door.

Djaq jolted awake, as she was awoken by a large clang. She slowly rose up from where she was lying and yawned lazily, stretching her arms. She got out the bed, and walked slowly, barefoot, down the stairs. What she saw before her confused her somewhat, and since she was still half asleep, it took her a while to take it all in. But when she did, she saw her husband lying unconsious on the floor, Gary tripping over, and Peter holding a shovel, and being dragged away by a dazed looking woman. Djaq found it hard to believe it was reality, and for a second thought she was still dreaming.
She descended the steps quickly and knelt by Will's side. He was slowly gaining consciousness and she felt his head, which was now bruised. "What happened?" she hissed, clearly unamused with the situation.
