Christmas Party!

[Will Scarlett]

"Spose..." said Will trying to hide how tired and worn out he was, but not really succeeding. They sat there for a while, Djaq rubbing her feet, and Will trying to keep awake by watching the dancing... "Hmmm..." sighed Will after little while, before looking over at Djaq and asking "Do you want me to grab you some food and bring it back here for you, so you don't have to get up, and can rest your poor feet?"

[Djaq]

"Oh Will!" she said lovingly "You are so good to me!" she giggled and nodded. "Alright then, food might give me more energy." She put her foot down on the ground and hugged him quickly. "I love you..." she whispered quietly and then released, letting Will go.

Will smiled and mouthed back to her 'I love you too' before standing up and disapearing amongst the crowds of still dancing peasants as he made his way over to the food area.
A few moments later, he returned back into view, carrying two plates pilled high with everything from meat, to salads, to vegetables, to fruit, and even, a piece of Much's special Christmas cake. He handed one to Djaq, and then sat back down on his log.

"That should keep you going for now," he grinned at the look on Djaq's face at seeing the plates with mountains of food on "but there's plently more where that came from if you finish it all!" he started to eat his food, before saying, after quickly swallowing a mouthful of some sort of meat, "Oh yeah, and I put some Christmas cake on there as well if you want it as well... it's the kinda thing that some people love, and some people hate... don't worry if you don't like it... cos I can always finish it for you!" he said grinning cheekily, and started to eat his piece before of cake, even though he still had a load of meat and vegetables on his plate.

[Djaq]

Djaq gaped at the amount of food on Wills plate, and her plate. "Honestly Will, you expect me to eat all that?" she asked unbelievably, she shook her head and then raised her eyebrows at Will. After watching him stuff his face, she hit him playfully. "Stop being such a pig Will Scarlett!" she said grinning. "You've already eating a whole weeks worth of food!"

"I'm hungry!" he said playfully through a mouthful of food. He swallowed and then continued "...and that's the other thing about Christmas... you eat absolutely loads, and then feel to full to eat for about a week later! Except me being me, I don't ever really get full!" he grinned and quickly dodged another one of her playful hits. "Oh and by the way, any food you can't manage... you know where to put it..." he said grinning and guesturing at his almost empty plate.

[Djaq]

Djaq smiled, piling most of her food on Wills plate. "There you go!" she said grinning, and daintily nibbled on a lettuce leaf on her plate. "Ahh, I can feel the energy coming back to me!" she said happily, bobbing up and down in her chair. She gestured for Will to sit next to her, for at the moment he was sitting on the floor, and carried on nibbling.

Will moved to the log next to her and watched her nibbleing on her lettuce leaf "Awwww... You're just like a little bunny rabbit!" he laughed, and quickly finished up the rest of her food. "So... you full of energy now after that very big meal of a lettuce leaf? Up for some more dancing?!"

much looked around the at the people having a good time and wished that he had someone to dance with but then thought he couldnt because who would go and fetch more food and drink for everyone to to refresh themselves.

"Why thank-you," He added, with a smile. He let go of her hand in order to get the gift which he'd bought her for Christmas. He did not answer her question, but instead wrapped the beautiful silver robe around her shoulders. The colour suited her perfectly, and he didn't care that it was against what he would usually do; he loved her, why should he buy her a gift every now and again? He should have thought of it as a waste of money, with the poor starving with nothing, but he had a weakness where Marian was concerned...

"Happy Christmas..." He murmured, indicating she could now open her eyes...

Djaq almost collapsed of her log chair, which was a very firm no. She tried to keep her balance, and suceeded, so sat up looking rather tipsy. "I don't think so..." she said smiling and put her arms around Will. "Lets just cuddle here unstead..." she grinned and nestled her head on his chest and closed her eyes.

Will put his arms round her and hugged her lovingly and protectivly. "Sounds like a great plan to me..." he said, but trailed off noticeing Much coming towards them. He smiled at him arkwardly, as Djaq was still nestled in his chest, half sitting on top of him. "Um... hi Much..." he laughed nervously, "having fun?"

" just try having to cook everything will " i could do with a sit down he sat near will and djaq and fell asleep for a little while but moaning under his breath.

[Djaq]

At the words...Hi Much...Djaq shot up and looking infront of her to see Much standing before her, eyebrows raised. "Hello..." she said awkwardly, and shifted herself over abit and turned away from Will, pretending she didn't know he was there.

As she quickly glanced over, and watched Much drifting into sleep, she breathed a sigh of relief and then smiled at Will blushing.
