Christmas Party!

[Marian]

She was wearing a simple yet beautiful white dress, and smiled as she saw her lovely fiance walking towards her. "I tried not to come, but how could I stay away?" She asked, with a smile, "Besides, I'm angry with you." She informed him, but instead of telling him why, she walked away, over to Will and Djaq.

"Hey Will, Djaq..." She said with a smile, "You've done a great job here, it looks fantastic!" She said, indicating the decorations in the clearing, and how wonderful it looked. "Oh, and Happy Christmas!"

[Will Scarlett]

Will smiled at her, happy that she as able to come "Thanks Marian, and a very Happy Christmas to you too!" he said and glanced over at Robin before grinning cheekily, "I think someone over there wants a dance" he said nodding over at Robin before turning to Djaq quicky before Marian could reply, "... and talking of dancing... you up for some more? Or are you all danced out?"

[Robin Hood]

He looked confused as she said she was angry with him - she didn't look angry, and he didn't know what she was angry about, but she as she dissapeared he followed her. Before he could speak, she began a conversation with Will, and so he waited for her to finish. He grinned at Will's comment;

"Marian, would you care to dance?" He asked, as they began to play a slow song. He smiled cheekily up at her, hoping she would forgive him for whatever she was angry about...

[Marian]

She turned to Robin, and couldn't help but laugh. She pretended to think it over for a moment, before taking his hand and allowing him to lead her onto the dance floor. "I guess..." She answered, as he placed his arms around her waist and she placed hers around his neck. They began to sway slowly to the music, and Marian looked deep into his eyes.

"How come..." She paused, "Why did you send someone else to give me my ring back?" She asked, as it glistened on her ring finger.

[Gary Taylor]

Gary moved through the people to the tree at the centre. Luckily it was still firmly held up by the looks of things. He looked around at the people nearby, dancing, talking...

[Alexis Bailey]

After what Will had told her, she started wandering around the party area looking for Gary. She spotted him standing by the tree in the centre and made her way towards him.

[Gary Taylor]

And there she was, dodging her way through the people towards him. Gary smiled as she reached him. "I'm so glad your here. I've been looking for you. I thought you might not come." Gary said.

[Alexis Bailey]

"I was thinking the same, I didn't see you here." she smiled and put her arms around him.

[Gary Taylor]

He kissed her quickly on the lips, smiled then looked around. "We better be careful, I think only Djaq knows about us." Gary said, not knowing he was completely wrong.

[Robin Hood]

He smiled as he pulled her tight, wishing they could be like this forever. "Don't sound too enthusiastic, will you!" He added, with a cheeky sparkle in his eye.

He had been expecting this question, if he was honest, and as he replied he couldn't quite meet her eyes. "I'm sorry..." He murmered, as he spun her out then pulled her back into him, continuing to talk; "It's just...sometimes...it's too hard. It's too difficult to tear myself away and have to leave you there. So I sent Alexis instead..." He pulled her close and placed his lips gently on her cheek; "Forgive me?"

[Marian]

She rested her head on his shoulder as the two continued to dance, and coudn't help but feel contented. Of course she forgave him - she understood what he was saying. It was so difficult to part that every time they did she felt like a little piece of her heart was breaking. They danced together, and she could feel his heart beating next to hers. "I love you...she murmered into his ear, and the two danced together perfectly. She didn't need to say anything else - he knew she understood why he hadn't returned the ring himself.

[Robin Hood]

It was as though no-one else was there as the two danced, and he felt complete as her head rested on his shoulder. "I love you too. Now, and forever..." He answered, taking hold of her hand and spinning her out once more, and commenting as he pulled her back in; "I must say, you're looking more beautiful than ever tonight..." As the song ended, he took her hand, and led her from the clearing into a denser patch of trees. He smiled at the look of confusion on her face.

"Close your eyes..." He told her, softly.

[Lady Katerina]

Katerina had quirked her eyebrow when she was ignored but she got the message, she decided she would leave the outlaws a note and meet up with them some other time.

Katerina took some ink and parchment out of her saddle bag and wrote a quick note,

Dear Robin Hood and his gang,

I am Lady Katerina Roselyn De'Amore, you sheltered at Luxembourg on your way back to Nottingham, you had been wounded gravely and you were delirious with fever, Your manservant, Much, and I nursed you back to good enough health to continue traveling.

The corruption of these lands is reaching even Luxembourg and my father will not stand for it any longer, I am to make my fathers offer to you face to face.

When you have the time to hear it send someone to tell either myself or Allan A Dale of the time and place, you can trust him still Robin... He will not betray something as important as this...

My father also sends an invitation, if you find yourself or your gang near Luxembourg there is a warm bed and a hot meal always waiting for you there.

Katerina put the ink and parchment away, she scanned the crowd and spied out Will, she walked over to him and pushed the note into his hand, smiling she turned and walked back to her horse.

Nassau did not flinch as she leaped onto his back, untying the rope she glanced back at the party "Outlaws and dancing..." she muttered with a smile before turning Nassau and galloping back to the Castle.

[Marian]

She laughed, "I thought I'd better make an effort, as everyone else seems to have done..." She grinned, "Including you. I haven't seen you looking this smart in a while!" She allowed him to lead her away from the area where pople were dancing, and followed his instructions if a little suspiciously. "Robin! What's all this about?" She asked, her eyes closed. As he let go of her hand, she waited, resisting the temptation to peek.

[Djaq]

Djaq smiled and laughed. "Gosh! I am pretty danced out! But...for you..." she took held his hand smiled up at him. "Come on then, one quick one."
