Christmas Party!

[Djaq]

Djaq shrugged and walked forewards, weaving through the crowd. After a while she spotted Robin, leaning against a tree, looking around, supervising the event. She smiled and the walked over to his direction. "Come on..." she said quietly to Will. She finally approached Robin, and grinned at him, looking at his smart clothes. "Someones looking smart today!" she smiled. "What are you doing? Why don't you join in the celebration?" she asked excitedly. "This Christmas thing really is wonderful, better than I had ever expected, and i had great expectations for it..." she said happily. After quite a long silence, Djaq asked, a little more concerned, "Are you alright?"

[Gary Taylor]

Gary walked into the clearing. His first thoughts were how many people had turned up, and how great it looked. He glanced around, there were a few peasants he recognised. He saw Djaq and Will laughing and talking but decided to leave them be for now, he wondered how many people knew about them being a couple but didn't remain on the thought.

He reached the food table. Much certainly had done a good job. He looked around again. He couldn't see anyone else he knew... but it was hard to tell through the crowds. Maybe Alexis hadn't even come...

[Robin Hood]

He grinned, standing up straight and no longer leaning on the tree; "Well, I thought I'd make the effort. You're looking very nice yourself, Djaq..." They didn't often see each other dressed smartly - they were usually too busy surviving to bother with how they looked.

"I was just watching everyone else..." He paused, "I'll join in in a minute." Nodding, he glanced around at everyone else. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's just..." He paused, "I wish I could spend more time with Marian, that's all." The sombre mood only lasted a minute - he wasn't one too dwell on his emotions alot, and not with others. "Well, as you've realised how great Christmas is, may I ask for a dance?" He asked, "That is, of course, assuming Will doesn't mind..." Grinning, he nodded at Gary as he entered by way of greeting.

[Lady Katerina]

Katerina had made a deal with Allan to give her a few hours freedom, she was sure that the clearing she had met those few outlaws in wasn't decorated for nothing and now that she had an alibi she was going to go back.

She saddled Nassau and pulled on a blue cloak over her silver and white riding outfit, she had her sword strapped to the saddle in case she needed it but not on her so as not to look threatening.

This time Katerina knew where she was going, she smiled when after some hard riding she heard the noise of a celebration, dismounting her horse she walked him to the edge of the clearing and tied him to a tree, she scanned the crowd until she saw the woman from earlier, walking through the people smiling she got to the woman.

Katerina coughed politely "Madam, If I might speak with you again?".

[Will Scarlett]

Will grinned back at Robin, unaware that this woman that he had met previously this day was talking to Djaq "Of course not! Be my guest, although she might show you up as she is a very good dancer" he smiled at Djaq and then gestured for her to go over to Robin and stood there leaning against the tree smiling at them.

[Djaq]

Djaq walked up to the clearing arm in arm with Robin. As they started dancing she grinned. "Its supprising really, Outlaws and dancing seems to go together better than bread and butter!" she laughed. "You're very good...and so was Will..." she shook her head. "It doesn't really make any sence!" she twirled around elegantly. "This Christmas Party really has become a sucess..."

[Alexis Bailey]

She stood by the food table watching everyone else. She was hoping Gary would arrive soon, she hadn't been away from him long but she was already missing him.

[Will Scarlett]

Will noticed Alexis standing on the other side of the party area looking slightly miserable and lonely, so he decided to go over and talk to her whilst Djaq and Robin were dancing. He dodged passed the dancing peasants, and eventually ended up near the food table, and made his way over to Alexis.
"Sorry we kinda abandoned you earlier... we had to um... do something..."he trailed off and then noticed that she was still looking a bit miserable "You okay?"

[Alexis Bailey]

"Yeah i'm fine, just waiting for..." she stopped herself, realising she hadn't told everyone yet, "never mind. Thanks for asking though." she smiled at him.

[Will Scarlett]

"Waiting for Gary?" Will knew he shouldn't ask her about it, but he couldn't help himself. He quickly tried to cover himself up and appologise "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to you know..." he trailed off and looked at her nervously.

[Alexis Bailey]

She blushed when Will said his name, she hadn't realised Will knew and said, "Its okay, I didn't know you knew," she looked at him and smiled an embarrassed smile.

[Will Scarlett]

"Sorry... I don't think I'm really meant to know..." he said, a little embarrassed himself, and then suddenly remebered that he had seen Gary he just a moment or so ago "He's here you know... Gary is... he was over there a little while ago..." he said pointing to the place where he had last seen him.

[Robin Hood]

He grinned, "Ah well, I'll take the risk..." He led Djaq onto the dance floor as the two began to dance to the music being played by some rather talented peasants. "Well, we are a multi-talented bunch of outlaws, aren't we. We can do anything!" He laughed "And you are extremely good too."

He twirled her around, and nodded, "It's nice to see everyone having fun for once, not bothered by the Sheriff..." He answered, loooking around wondering if Marian would manage to make it to the party...

[Djaq]

Djaq smiled as she watched Robin look around the clearing, and as if to read his mind, said "Don't worry, I'm sure Marian will turn up sooner or later." She gave Robin a reasuring smile as they continued to dance. Djaq had the somewhat, talent, to know what was going on in peoples minds. She was not a mind reader, or a magician, she could just tell the way people were feeling by their body language and the looks on their faces.

They danced for quite a while longer, before Djaq decided to put it on hold and signalled Robin to stop. She led him away from the clearing and next to where Will and Alexis were standing. She grinned at them both, breathing heavily. "I think we've had enough..." she said, imbetween breaths.

[Robin Hood]

He looked to her and looked surprised; "What? How do you...?" He stopped, and merely smiled, "I hope so." He added softly, as they began to dance to a faster song. Both were quite good dancers - Robin from his days as Lord of Locksley, and Djaq - well, he didn't know where she'd learnt to dance.

He nodded; "I think we ought to rest!" Laughing, they wandered back over to Will and Alexis. His breathing was steady, but faster than normal - but he was smiling. As he looked over to the tree where he had been leant just minutes before, and saw another leant against it, his smile spread further across his face. "Excuse me..." He murmered, before wandering over to the beautiful woman before him. "I thought you weren't going to come!"
