"Yeah, an' him that runs his mouth gets a clip round the ear," said Allan, rolling his eyes at the loquacious stranger. He was behaving like a churchman, that was for sure. Acting like he knew it all, ordering his captors about; yeah, all the hallmarks. His supercillious attitude was really getting under Allan's skin already. Now he was telling them to tie him up. Still, whilst Tuck was playing along, Allan started lashing his proffered wrists together.

Much blinked at Tuck's suggestion. It was a good idea, such a good idea that it was a little annoying. This man thought he could just appear, and tell them all what to do? Much was confused, and he racked his brains deciding on what he was suggesting would be alright. After all, he would be tied up, so Much supposed he wouldn't be that much of a threat. He nodded slowly, and then looked over at Allan for support. If Tuck was who he said he was, there shouldn't be a problem, and they should escape with whatever gold this carriage had with no trouble. "I suppose...it's an idea..." he said uncertainly.
Tuck's hands were tyed, it was about time their plan was put into action. "Alright then, after you Tuck," he said, prodding Tuck so that he edged forewards slightly. He found a hidden possition behind a tree, and nodded at Allan.

So they were combining parts of two plans, Tuck thought to himself grimly. They were going to keep his hands tied up, but around to his back, so nobody could see, but they were going to have the harmless friar perhaps cause them to lower their guard. "If they put up any resistance I won't be a lot of help in a fight," he whispered back toward Much. He didn't even know his new compatriots names. As leisurely as possible he half-slid down the little slope, until he was on level ground near the carriage.
"Now that does look like a spot of bad luck, there, my children. I hope that everyone is well. Is everyone all right. My name is Friar Tuck. Do you need any assistance?" Tuck noted that nobody was speeding out of the carriage, and that it was possible that someone may be on the other side of the carriage waiting to see if he or anyone else posed a threat. He decided that it would be the best course of action to turn his body so that he presented a small target to any potential attacker. However, since his hands were tied he couldn't open the carriage door. So, he had to wait, somewhat helplessly for someone inside to make the first move.
