He watched her walk off, confused. He'd heard of women blowing hot and cold before, but this was ridiculous. She was madly in love with him on minute, and giving up on him entirely the next. Allan knew that if he set his mind on something, he'd make damn sure that he'd get it, by fair means or foul.

Rosetta mounted a horse that was waiting for her. "I will kill Prince John." she vowed. The horse reared a little and set off at a canter.
