Knowing the locals(Allen)

[Lady Rosetta Court]

As Rosetta wandered the village she smiled warmly to herself. "Wow its a beautiful day." she said to a passerby. "Sure is ma'am." said the woman. Rosetta smiled. Just then gaurds came into the village disrupting the peace. "Right where are the outlaws?" one cried. Rosetta grabbed her bow from her back and fired some shots at the gaurds. A cheer erupted. "Thank you my fellows." she smiled.

[Allan A'Dale]

Allan, who'd been drowsing lazily in the warm sunshine after his morning's food delivery, was roused by the shout that went up as the Sheriff's men stormed into Locksley. He pulled himself to his feet just in time to see a tall, dark-haired woman firing arrow after arrow at the interlopers, stopping them in their tracks.

'Not bad,' he thought to himself approvingly. She was well dressed, too. Didn't seem to be one of the unwashed masses. He started towards her.

[Lady Rosetta Court]

Roesetta put her bow back. "Well thats that." she said. She turned around and saw a scruffy man walking towards her. "Good day sir!" she smiled. She began walking to him too. "I am Lady Roestta Court of Cheshire and who may you be?" she asked. She held out her hand.

[Allan A'Dale]

Allan grinned at her. "Well I never! Lady Rosetta, is it? And where does a lady learn to shoot that well?"

As she offered her hand, he took it and raised it to his lips. No harm in turning on the charm, after all.

[Lady Rosetta Court]

"I learnt from the best." she said. Could she be falling for his charm? Rosetta laughed. "You're quite the charmer one must say." she said. She looked at him. "Don't worry I'm not trying to steal your heart or anything." she said quickly.

[Allan A'Dale]

He raised an eyebrow, teasing her. "Steal hearts often, do you? A noble and a thief, and good with a bow to boot...Nottingham seems to attract your type. What brings you to our corner of England?"

[Lady Rosetta Court]

"The fun." she said. She held his hand. "I must admit you are attractive." she laughed. "Please walk with me." she said.

[Allan A'Dale]

Allan cocked an eyebrow at that. She wasn't backwards in coming forwards, but that was a pleasant change from the nervous, mousy girls around Nottinghamshire generally. Most of the general populace had had the fight scared out of them by now. It was definitely nice to meet another woman with a bit of spunk.

She wasn't half bad looking herself, but he wasn't going to admit that to her right away. He nodded and took her arm.

[Lady Rosetta Court]

"Well Allan you are quite the looker." she said. "I myself am in a difficult situation. Prince John wants me to be his wife but its something I dont want." she said. She smiled at him then concentrated on where she was going.

[Allan A'Dale]

Allan gave a long, low whistle. "Prince John, eh? That's pretty high up there on the scale of rich suitors. But I s'pose if you're here pissing off the Sheriff's men, that it's not just that you don't want to marry him. You want to stop him, don't you?"

This was getting more interesting all the time. Fiesty, good figure, and on their side. Surely there had to be a catch. There was no such thing as the perfect woman. She probably had some other bloke waiting in the wings to take her up the aisle...as it were. He snickered at the childish euphemism.

[Lady Rosetta Court]

She stopped and turned to face him. "Allan I love you." she blurted out. "I knew since I first saw you. I hate being what I am. I'm trying my best to become an outlaw." she continued. "Look I don't that scumbag I want you." she smiled.

[Allan A'Dale]

"Allan I love you. "I knew since I first saw you."

Bloody hell.

Allan blinked, suddenly on the back foot for the first time. This didn't happen. He knew it should, him being the best looking man in Sherwood, but now it had, he wasn't sure what to say.

Since she first saw him? But he only met her today...had she been following him around? Surely he'd have picked up on it...wouldn't he?

"I'm trying my best to become an outlaw. I don't want that scumbag, I want you."

He wasn't sure whether to respond to her urge to become a social outcast, or the fact that she'd picked him over Prince John. His ego won out.

"You want me, do you? And do you always get what you want?"

He wasn't above teasing a pleading woman, but he still felt a little bad for it.

[Lady Rosetta Court]

"Not all the time. But.." she sighed. She threaded her fingers through his. "I'd rather have you than Prince John my love but it can never happen." she said.

[Allan A'Dale]

"I'd rather have you than Prince John my love but it can never happen."

"Well, I must admit that I'm not really the marrying kind, darling, but who says you can never have me?"

This was a bit weird. He'd only just met the woman and here she was professing her love to him.

[Lady Rosetta Court]

"Robin." she said. She looked downhearted. "Will he allow a man like you to marry a noble like myself?" she asked. She sighed. She let him go and began to walk away.
