"I'm fine. Thank you for asking." A soft, sarcastic smile flittered across her face as she looked between the two men. "Annabella. Annabella Scarlett."

"Scarlett?" Gary repeated, shocked. "B- Wait, you're a Scarlett?" Gary glanced back at Luke, then back to Annabella. "Are you two related?"

Luke sighed, and nodded. ''Yes, eveyrthing is perfectly fine. I do appreciate your concern for me of course, but there is nothing wrong'' Luke answered, even if it was a bit unconvicing. He wasn't alright, but at the same time he did not like being asked about it a lot. His emotions were his own, just like they always had been and probably always were. Even his father was very rarely told what he was told.
However, his attention was soon picqued by this woman... a Scarlett. Could she really be one of his family? Concentrating mainly on her name as opposed to her slightly sulky nature, he gaped a little. ''Who's daughter are you?''

"Annie, and David... in Scarborough.." She looked the young man up and down, as though trying to place him. "Why'd you ask?"

Luke's eyes perked up, even if he still did not remember this girl. That was rather embarrasing he supposed. ''Well... I live with my aunt Annie in Scarborough and I'm called Luke Scarlett'' he replied, obviously hopeful that she might have some sort of clue to how they were related.

"Luke? Her brow furrowed as she thought hard, trying to place the name. After her father's death she had been sent across town, to live with a family friend to prevent her mother from struggling. But news had reached her of another moving into the house, not long after she had left. "You're the boy living with my mother... the one I heard about..."

''Wel... I don't think I have heard of you...'' Luke said, still slightly baffled by all of it. He had never been one to pay much attention to the children of relations like Aunt Annie, as he was always too concerned with following Will around and matters like that. His immediate family were what was really important to him. Never the less, he was pleased he supposed to meet someone who seemed to be related. ''Do you really know me though?''

"I have heard news of your staying with my mother. But I did not live with her. After my father died I was sent away, to live with a family friend." She bit her lip, wary of disclosing so much information about herself

Luke nodded, and then sighed a little. He did not like the idea of having some relative he barely knew, as he didn't want anyone nwoing about his mother's death and then his father's murder at the hands of the sheriff. "So that is all you know about me then? That I went to stay with your mother for a little bit?''

"That is all I was told, yes. That you lived with my mother for a while." She nodded slightly, shifting awkwardly where she stood.

"Oh... well, that is very good then. I would not have liked it if you knew too much about my personal life you see. I would have been rather embarrassed'' Luke replied, smiling slightly to himself at the fact she didn't know much about him.
