"I would go about finding my cousins, but I'm sure they can wait a while longer.." She laughed softly, sitting delicately on her garden fence. His words amused her somewhat. "You find me hard to ignore? And why is that I wonder..?"

That could be interesting Roe thought to himself. "If they are outlaws that could be a challenge, couldn't it. Once you are known in the village it would seem likely that they might get word that you are here, don't you think? So you might want to set it up where they find you, instead of the other way around. However, if and when they find that somebody's taken over their old home, they may come a'calling. I'll be sure to send them your way, if I see them first, though, rest assured."
She seemed to be getting a bit more relaxed around him he thought. "I would think that most would find your presence difficult to ignore," he chuckled. "It would appear to be all to obvious to me why, and if why I have to explain why, one would would wonder just how observant you are. I'm sure you have some experience with being noticed," he smiled as he leaned back against the front wall of the cottage.

"Yes... I may have to simply let them find me.. it will save me the trouble of having to look for them.." She ran a hand through her hair, laughing softly at his comments"I had to get myself noticed back home. I had an older brother to compete with.. And as for being obervant.. that is just my nature..."

Roe nodded his head .... she apparently had a quick and reasonable mind. She was not wedded to a particular point of view. At least her mind operated in a somewhat logical manner. Negotiations in the Crusades would have been so much easier if some of the officers he had fought beside had not had such large egos, and had been more practical. "I'm sure once they find out that you are here that they will send word where you can meet with them. Locksley may not be say enough for them you know. I don't expect that you will have to wait too long though."
Roe shook his head with just some moderate disbelief. "You will not have to work to get noticed here I don't think. I think the curious looks that some of the villagers have been giving us indicate that most clearly. And you are not at home anymore ... people will evaluate you according to what they see and how they think you are acting. Take my word for it ... you are noticed .... and I mean that in a most positive way."

"They will no doubt hear of my arrival soon enough..." She mused softly, several ideas running through her mind as she spoke "If my actions are to be taken into consideration, then perhaps I shall get the wrong kind of attention.." Another soft laugh escaped her, a sparkle of excitment in her eyes.

roe laughed out loud and said, "You are not one who makes a quiet unassuming entrance to the stage, methinks." Roe took a couple of moments to consider what she was saying. "What kind of actions are you known for, praytell, and what kind of attention are you looking for," he said with a wink of his pale blue eyes.

"I tend to attract trouble where ever I am... it will become impossible to miss me.." She grinned devilishly. "I have somewhat of a reputation back home..." She finished her sentence in a very false whisper. "...with regards to men.."

Roe considered what she was saying about herself. He percieved that she was leaning forward as her voice become more of a whisper, so Roe began moving somewhat closer as well. "You do mention earlier that you had a rough relationship with him. Did this have anything to do with that. Hmmm .... well I find it pretty difficult to miss you .... that's for sure," he said noting the somewhat more wild expression on her face. "And what type of reputation do you have, exactly, and what do you think my reputation would be, if people knew anything about me around here," he winked.

She looked at him, thinking deeply as she weighed up what little she knew about him, but coming up blankly. "I truely have no idea what your reputation would be, but I'm sure it would be nothing bad. As for me.. I'll let you find out for yourself.." She winked, a soft grin on her lips.

He laughed softly, "It seems that you are willing to give me the benefit of the doubt. Rest assured, fighting in the Crusades for 15 years is not something that elevates you to sainthood. As for yourself, where and how do you expect me to get this education I wonder?," he said winking back.

"No doubt you will hear of my escapades once I have been here long enough. As for the where and how, perhaps we should wait and see how well we get along..?" She cocked her head slightly, smiling gently.

Yes, that was a reasonable way to look at it. "I'm sure I will find the stories of your escapades quite entertaining. I am sure that your cousins won't find my occupancy of their old house entertaining, so they probably won't like me hanging around their cousin either. I expect, in any case, that when you really get to know me you won't find my company so attractive." And with that, and some twine in his possession, he scrambled up on the roof to make some much-needed, but temporary repairs. "I have to go out in the forest tomorrow and harvest some beech fronds to use in replacing some sections of the roof. Do you approve, Anna?"

"I am my own person. I do not wish to live by their rules." She looked up at him, squinting in the sunlight. "Beech fronds? Yes... that would work...

"Yes .... I would say that you are quite your own person. You are the best to decide what's best for you .... correct. I would never be foolish enough to tell you what to do .... so I would expect that others would do so at their own peril," he laughed. "I suppose it is fortunate for me that I sowed my wild oats years ago," he chuckled. "I think I know just the area in the forest to go for them, especially since I remember the saplings from my youth. They should do nicely after 15 years of growth," he winked.

"It sounds as though you have been planning for your future for a long time.." She mused softly, leaning against the fence once again.
