Djaq strolled down the path towards Peters house humming to herself happily. She was glad to be back in England, and felt the urge to give to the poor.
She pushed opened the door to Peters house, a pouch of money already in her hand. She froze when she saw Daniel lying motionless on the ground. She dropped the pouch and stumbled over to Daniels side, finding it hard to breath. She knelt down slowly, and felt Daniels pulse. "Poisoned..." she whispered, shuddering. She heard a shuffle of movement from outside the house, and bolted out the door, returning to the Gangs hideout.

Peasant Peterawoke from a deep sleep.
He yawned, and rubbed his eyes
He spotted Daniel beside him looking pale and lifeless.
The thought nothing of it.
After continuously poking Daniel for a minute or two, he concluded that Daniel was in a very deep sleep indeed.
He shrugged and walked out of his house to find some yummy food.
