These Rules are simply to make the board more fun for everyone, so please read and follow them!
1. Canon and uncanon characters are allowed
2. There isn't a maximum number of characters you are allowed, just as long as you can keep up with them. There's no point having 15 characters and posting as two.
3. The Admins decision is final.
4. Having an avatar, a signature or both is essential. Please pick an appropriate picture to represent your character. If they are canon, use the actor or actress who portrays them in the series. If they are original, choose someone who looks the right age and the right time period. I realise this is hard, but please try to have an image which looks as close a possible to someone from the time of Robin Hood - not from 2007.
5. Be sensible with personal information you give out - if in doubt, don't give it out!
6. Keep swearing to a minimum and in character, please.
7. Keep sexual content to a minimum. There's a difference between romance and plain pornography - you shouldn't need this difference clarified, it's pretty obvious.
8. No chat speak, please. Spell checker is your friend!
9. Try to make posts detailed.
10. Please roleplay in the third person. Eg. "The young, beautiful girl wandered through the streets of Nottingham. She was unsure as to where she was going, but she just wanted to get away." Speech should be in first person, and indicated by speech marks.
11. No God Modding - you control your own characters, not everyone elses too!
12. Please keep canon characters as realistic as possible. No, Gisbourne and Robin are not going to suddenly fall in love with each other.
13. I know it's difficult with school work, work and all other commitments, but if possible please try to keep active and if you are not going to be here for a while, let everyone know!
14. When entering the information required on your profile, please make it about your character, not yourself. If everyone does the same, this will avoid confusion
